FORTY-SIX

JIMIN WAS PACKING his stuff for the short trip Yoongi had planned for them. Ever since then his thoughts would drift off, to one specific vision that he really tried to ignore since that day. But it was impossible. It's now hovering in his head day in day out.

Almost two weeks have passed since his birthday, everything was like usually, just that his nights were spent in Yoongi's room, filled with laughs and bickering, late night talks and stupid conversations. They work perfectly well together, heading out for a few task and helping out other Duos as well. It was all perfect, expect that one stupid vision. It's like a shadow following Jimin around or a bomb around his waist that's about to explode anytime.

He knew that he has to talk to Yoongi about it eventually, because since that day back then, the day he got the vision, they never mentioned it again. Now he has the time to bring it up on their trip.

They're having a few days off for it because it will take some time to learn to control it. Yoongi didn't exactly tell him who that person is, but he knows how to help Jimin because he himself has the same powers. Therefore they have to go to another city, which is about two hours away from them. They will be staying in an airbnb for these days.

Jimin was so into his thoughts that he didn't hear Yoongi walking into his room.

"Hey, my love." He says, causing Jimin to flinch at the sudden touch. "Sorry, I thought you heard me."

"It's fine." Jimin responds with a short smile before turning around to peck Yoongi's lips. He's still packing his stuff, but he was so in his thoughts that he didn't really get to finish it.

"Don't forget to bring some warm clothes." Yoongi says, since it started snowing a few days ago and hasn't stopped since.

"You're right. Can you give me my sweaters from my closet?" Jimin asks while Yoongi already approached his closet. His warm clothes are placed on the bottom and while grabbing it, Yoongi notices a wooden box underneath them.

"What's this?" He asks curiously, no need to hide his curiosity regarding Jimin.

"Oh that's- it's something- personal." Jimin mumbles, unsure if it's the right moment to show it Yoongi. He never talked about it to anyone. It's a secret he wanted to keep to himself forever, because no one needed to know. At least not until now.

„Oh- sorry for asking." Yoongi responds before closing the closet and walking up to Jimin. The younger sighs, he feels bad to hide anything from Yoongi. After all they belong to each other now, they are a couple now.
There shouldn't be any secrets.

„No- don't be sorry." Jimin says walking past Yoongi to go to his closet. He grabs the box and places it on his sideboard where Yoongi is standing.

He opens the wooden box, revealing nothing but a few things. It's a pair of baby shoes, a small silver necklace and an old picture. There're a few others things as well, just some belongings of his parents but the most important stuff are the ones that belonged to a long lost person.
