Chapter 6

Gold opened her eyes when the familiar sound woke her, it was Sting.
“Wake up, Gold. We have to go further. " Sting said. Gold yawned and stretched as soon as she got up, it was like 6:00 in the morning. She noticed that a bit further away from her, Ella was talking to Whiteflower, and with curiosity Gold moved towards them.
"How far are we from Blox Town?" She heard Ella.
"Not far, but Shiver doesn't live in Blox Town." Whiteflower said hesitantly. Gold raised one eyebrow, how can Whiteflower know where her friend lives?
"What's the deal with" she doesn't live "in Blox Town." Gold intervened. Whiteflower gave Gold a serious look, did she say something wrong?
"Because she doesn't live, she lives in the Starforest." Whiteflower said, then looked around the grounds. There was silence after that, Gold looking a little confused. Starforest? If she lived there, she would have told me about it. Gold thought. She couldn't remember she and Shiver studying magic in the Starforest. Is Shiver hiding something? Or maybe she had moved there recently, but Gold wondered how Whiteflower knew where Shiver live.
"Where are Roxanne and Dark?" Ash asked tiredly. Gold began to look around for Dark or Roxanne, she began to worry. Have they gone somewhere? Gold thought.
"I'll go find them, maybe they went for a walk." Gold said quickly, then she headed through the woods. She ignored the bushes she stumbled upon, Gold just wanted to find Dark and Roxanne as soon as possible. The sooner we get the better. Gold told herself. She only wondered where and why Dark and Roxanne had gone, did something happen at night? Suddenly, when Gold heard the crack of a branch, she looked abruptly where she heard the sound, surprised to see Dark who was keeping Roxanne company. Gold ran towards them quickly, she was confused and was watching them curiously.
"What are you doing here?" Gold asked. Dark looked confused, she saw Dark blush slightly, Gold raised one eyebrow.
"I've been looking for you, we must move on!" Gold said. Dark only looked at Roxanne, who was not looking at him at all, Dark made a sad face and got up from the log on which he was sitting next to Roxanne.
"Thank you for letting me know, Gold." Dark mumbled and he turned back to where she and everyone was sleeping. Did I miss something? She asked herself mentally. Gold gave Roxanne an uncertain look, did Dark do something? Roxanne just smiled at Gold, then stood up.
"Let's go." Roxanne said, she started walking, looking straight ahead. Gold caught up with her, she wanted to find out if anything had happened the night she slept, she began to wish she had not slept at all if something had happened.
"Something happened?" Gold asked.
"No, I was just having a bad dream." Roxanne muttered grimly.
Gold wanted to say something, but she refrained from doing so, she began to worry about Roxanne's dream. Was Foxy in it? Or mayhe her and Ella? When they got there, everyone was ready to move on.
"Let's move on, Whiteflower will lead us to the Starforest." Ella announced, then gave Whiteflower the lead. Gold saw Roxanne's face twitch.
“Starforest? What is this place?" Roxanne asked.
"Whiteflower said Shiver lives there." Gold replied. As long as she lives there, because I don't believe much in it. Gold thought. The same question about Whiteflower and his knowledge of Shiver kept floating in her mind. So he and Sting believe in my plan? If so, they came with us for a reason. Gold thought to herself, curiosity starting to catch her.
"Is it far from here?" Roxanne asked suddenly. Gold didn't know, but she decided to say what Whiteflower told them. "Not far away, I think we'll get there today.”
"Good, then we'll go home." Roxanne said. Gold heard fear and sadness in her voice, she didn't know what to say to Roxanne, she didn't want to worry her friend more. Gold looked to the right side of her side, noticed that Sting was walking next to her with a slight smiling face.
Gold began to wonder if Sting go with them only because he might also know something about Shiver or he just wanted to help them. She remembered how she and Sting had a good relation, so good that while Foxy and Roxanne were a couple, Sting fell in love with her. Gold was relieved that Sting had stopped loving her, he seemed normal and calm, but she was aware that Sting still trusted Foxy. I don't understand why some of us trust someone who captured our friends. Gold thought. Though she initially trusted Foxy when she met him because he was happy and normal back then, but now Gold has a desire to hurt him for what he did to Roxanne and their territory. The thought that she would fight Foxy gave her satisfaction. Suddenly, she woke up from her thoughts when she heard Sting. “Are you okay?"
Gold realized that he might have noticed her reflection, Gold made a friendly face and just nodded.
"Is Starforest connected to this forest?" She heard Ash ask Whiteflower. Gold said nothing anymore, decided to listen to Whiteflower and the members.
"No, Starforest is located a bit further from that forest." Whiteflower replied seriously. Gold just rolled her eyes and lowered her head down, she had the impression that what Whiteflower was saying was nonsense.
"Do you know exactly where we can find Shiver in Starforest?" Ash asked him again.
"Yes, I know every detail of their territory." Whiteflower replied.
"Their"? What "their" again? Shiver is the only wizard I've ever seen, I don't remember her mentioning that there are more of them! Gold screamed uncertainly in her mind. What if what Whiteflower says is true? She felt even weirder when Whiteflower said the word "their".
"How does Whiteflower know so much about Shiver?" Roxanne asked in surprise.
"I have no idea," said Gold, "but I find it suspicious."
She saw Ella and Dark following Whiteflower in silence, Gold did not understand the current atmosphere. Suddenly she noticed that there was already an exit from the forest in front of them, her eyes saw a ravine in front of him. It looks weird. Gold thought.
"We have to cross this ravine." Whiteflower informed everyone. Gold exchanged uneasy looks with Roxanne but said nothing. When everyone left the forest, a light heat greeted them. The weather is going to be sunny. Gold thought. Gold watched everyone as they started walking through the ravine. She already imagined what would happen when they found Shiver, she’ll agreed to help and stop Foxy. Gold hoped it would all end well, she just wanted to live as usual. Gold walked calmly alongside Roxanne, Sting continued to walk alongside Gold as well, watching closely.
"When was the last time you met with Shiver?" Roxanne asked. Gold saw Roxanne give her a questioning look, she sighed heavily. "Haven't seen her for a long time, I think a few days before Foxy left our group." Gold replied. Roxanne nodded, Gold was sure Roxanne wanted to ask her why they hadn't seen each other for so long. But she didn't want to tell anyone about it because she hated to feel responsible. It was Foxy who forbade me from meeting Shiver, because he thought every no-member of our group is an enemy. Gold thought uncertainly. She began to sincerely wish she had listened to herself then, but Gold thought she was doing the right thing, but Shiver never got in trouble. She only taught her how to use magic correctly, Gold asked herself why she didn't know how to use the power correctly, she felt useless but it quickly disappeared from her head. She always had trouble learning with magic, only remembered how to hold an object with magic. Suddenly, as Whiteflower walked looking straight ahead, Gold noticed a characteristic brown color of fur a little further away from them. Bear! She screamed in her mind. Gold shuddered, pushed forward quickly, and stopped Whiteflower.
"We have to turn back!" She tried not to scream lest the animal attack.
"What's going on, Gold?" Ella asked, her eyes dark with worry. Gold looked again at the place where she saw a large figure, she could not see any fur anymore, Gold felt that it was just her hallucinations, but still felt that the predator was watching them.
"Is there a shortcut to Starforest?" Gold asked.
"Tell me what do you mean first." Whiteflower demanded an answer. Before she could say anything, she heard the bear roar. Gold froze with fear, realized that a predator had found them. Everyone looked around in confusion, only Gold was looking at the same place where she saw the bear. Suddenly a moment later a bear appeared, saliva was dripping from its mouth and it was panting loudly.
"Don't make any sudden movements." Ella said softly. Gold watched the bear begin to slowly enter the ravine they were walking. Even if they wanted to escape, the ravine was bigger than them. Suddenly she heard Ash scream in fear when the bear was getting closer to them. The bear roared and started running towards them.
"Go back to the forest!" Ella shouted, then quickly everyone started to run back to the forest. Gold ran last, quickly grabbed the stone that was close to her, and then threw it at the beast's head. The bear stood for a moment and began to touch its head with its paw. Hope it distracts it! Gold thought. Once they were in the Forest, she looked back, noticed that the beast still had them all on its neck. Gold stopped with a menacing expression, noticed that members had stopped just like her.
“Gold! What are you doing?" Sting shouted. Gold looked quickly at her group, she saw the terror and confusion in their eyes. I have to do this. Gold thought.
“Run away! I'll distract bear! " Gold screamed.
"No, we won't leave you here!" Roxanne screamed. Gold looked at the animal that was closer to them.
“Now! Quick!" Gold screamed desperately. Roxanne still hesitated, and Dark saw it, so he grabbed her wrist and pulled her, running after the others. Gold heard Roxanne's screams but ignored them. Gold took the battle position, felt her heart beat like a hammer.
"Here you furry-brain!" Gold shouted loudly. The bear only growled and started walking towards her. Gold got off the path and started running as fast as she could. She heard the Bear panting behind her. I have to get out of the forest, maybe thanks to this I'll lost it! Gold screamed out in her mind. She started running towards the exit where the sunlight was shining through. When she noticed that the beast was very close to her, she quickly jumped on one of the branches of the trees and then began to climb the tree. She was afraid that she would fall to the ground and become the beast's snack. She saw the bear scratching the tree with two paws. Gold tried to hold on as hard as possible, she felt pain in her arms and stomach. Go away already! Gold screamed desperately in her mind. She felt as she slowly started to slide off the tree, Gold was gripping the trees hard, but she felt that she would have a lot of splinters on her hands. Suddenly, Gold stopped feeling the shaking of the tree, she looked down, still tried out the tree, saw the bear disappear in the trees of the forest. Gold felt confused, waited a moment, and then slowly descended from the tree.
Is the bear giving up so suddenly? She was relieved that it was all over, but she felt as if someone was watching her. I need to find the rest as soon as possible. Gold thought. When she started to go back towards the path, she suddenly noticed a broom in front of her pointing at her, she noticed that it was some girl with black hair. Gold gasped with exhaustion, she didn't know what to say. She saw on the stranger’s head wizard's hat she knew. Shiver? Gold was surprised in her mind.
"Don’t move!" The girl ordered her. Gold shuddered when she noticed that she was surrounded by three girls, they were holding brooms in case Gold wanted to escape.
"What are you doing near our territory?" Another girl asked her.
“Wait, I'm not looking for trouble!" Gold gasped. She saw the black haired girl and the brown haired girl exchange stern glances.
"What are you looking for?" The girl with brown hair calmly asked, she had black glasses, they were similar to Shiver's glasses.
"I ... I am looking for ..."
The girl with black hair interrupted her. "You will tell us everything in our camp."
Gold tried desperately to get out, but the girl with the black hair predicted her movements.
"Don't try to fight, we don't want to hurt you, you'll explain yourself to our leader." The girl with black hair said.
"I can't go with you, this is some mistake!" Gold screamed. "I'm going to leave and never come back, okay?"
But each girl looked at herself doubtfully, do they not believe her?
"We have to make sure you don't have bad intentions, The Sisters wants to live in peace and not in fear." The girl with black hair said seriously. The Sisters? Who are they? Gold asked herself uncertainly. Gold now was sure she is in trouble, seeing that the three girls still surrounded her, she desperately fell to her knees. How will she find her friends now? What will she do when she has go with girls she doesn't know? Hope it passes quickly, I don't want to lose them. Gold thought. She saw the black girl look at the other two girls behind Gold.
"Clarice, Keira, keep an eye on the rear, it is not known if there may be more intruders here." A girl with black hair warned them. Gold desperately started to follow the black-haired girl, she was shocked by only one detail, all three girls were dressed as wizards. Gold lowered her head, trying not to explode with anger. She wasn't looking for trouble now, she just wanted to find her friends.
The trees blew hard on either side. Gold looked around here and there, she had the impression that they were in the Starforest, or maybe they are? Gold was afraid of what would happen now, when she feels completely alone in a strange place, she feels uncomfortable. Suddenly she noticed the entrance to The Sisters camp, the girl with black hair signaled to go on, one of the girls who was watching Gold pushed her slightly to follow the girl, Gold obediently followed the girl with black hair. As they plunged into the dark tunnel for a moment, Gold felt a chill. Is their camp like a big gorge? Gold asked herself, but she guessed the gorge was big enough to create a camp here. She started to look around carefully, she saw other girls dressed as wizards on the way, anxiety caught her when she saw all the girls staring at her suspiciously. They stared at her as if she were an enemy, Gold remembered Foxy's gaze at Roxanne. She dreamed of being invisible. Suddenly a girl that Gold didn't know at all approached them.
"What do we have here, Gestra?" The girl with dark brown hair asked. Due to the fact that the girls were so much taller than she was, she felt more in danger.
"We found her near the Starforest." Gestra answered. Gold tried to pretend to be friendly, hoping they would release her soon.
"And where are Tara, Clio, Shiver and Aura?" Gestra asked. Gold wondered at the name "Shiver", does Shiver belong to "The Sisters"?
"They probably also sensed the presence of intruders." A girl with dark brown hair answered. Gold thought they meant her friends, if it's the Shiver they are looking for, they fell into good hands, but for sure?
"The more intruders, the worse!" Gestra said, her gaze darkening with fear. Gold wanted to say something, but wasn't sure what she could tell someone who had practically made her come to their camp. The girl with dark brown hair sighed. "I’ll fetch Fauna, she will know what to do with intruders."
Gold watched the girl with dark brown hair make her way towards the house upstairs.
"Now, tell us why did you stay close to our territory?" Gestra asked seriously. Out of fear, Gold sat down, suddenly felt pain on her hands, she noticed that she had splinters on each of her hands. However, she ignored it, Gold wanted to find out if it was this Shiver as soon as possible.
"It's quite a long story, I was chased by a bear, I wanted to distract this beast, I didn't want anything bad to happen to my friends." Gold spoke calmly. Gold noticed Gestra and the girl with dark brown hair exchanging serious looks.
"Friends?" The brown-haired girl repeated hesitantly.
"Yes, I wanted to save them so they wouldn't get hurt." Gold replied. Gestra gave Gold a cold look, while Gold sat helplessly, not knowing what to say.
"Probably the rest of the intruders are her friends." The girl with brown hair answered.
“Yes, Clarice. Hopefully they will find these intruders as soon as possible. " A girl with dark brown hair answered. Gold realized The Sisters were afraid of intruders, but that they were so afraid of intruders?
"Excuse me, is there a wizard named Shiver here? I heard you mentioned her name. " Gold asked.
"The Sisters do not reveal any detail to the intruder, you have the right to remain silent." Gestra replied. Gold hesitated, she tried to calm down, telling herself she was in a safe place. She could still feel the wet blood on her hands, but she ignored the pain. Suddenly she noticed that the rest of its members and the four sorceresses who surrounded her group were entering the camp.
"Gold!" She heard Sting calling for her, but the red-haired girl stopped him. Then a girl with pink clothes and blonde hair came, she had a pink typical wizard hat like the rest of The Sisters.
“What are so many intruders doing here?" The girl with blonde hair asked with a worried voice. Gold suddenly heard a familiar voice, "We don't know yet, but they'll tell us soon.”
Gold stood up and looked at the girl who said that, it was Shiver. Gold felt excited to see her old friend.
“Shiver! I can't believe you are here! " Gold called out. As Shiver looked at Gold, her hostility faded from her, only Gold saw the shock on Shiver's face.
"How do you know our sister?" The girl with blonde hair asked. Clarice and Keira let Gold pass, she took advantage of it right away and ran over to Shiver. Gold watched in a friendly manner, but Shiver didn't reciprocate. Gold noticed Ella and Dark's surprise, she looked proudly at her members and then said, "We made it, we found Shiver."
