"Shiver, is that really you?" Ella asked in amazement. But Shiver ignored them, looking nervous.
"How do you know our sister, intruders?" Keira asked. Gold was about to say his name, but it was Shiver who spoke first. "Her name is Jasmine, her friends have come to visit me.”
What? What's her point? Gold asked herself mentally. Shiver looked at Gold, Shiver's gaze was telling her something.
"Visit? We have never seen them here before. " The blonde girl said. Shiver sighed heavily, her gaze was suddenly avoiding Gold's.
"It's some kind of misunderstanding .." Gold started to say, but Shiver cut her off again.
"They didn't come to our camp, it's true, but we did see each other in Blox Town."
Each of The Sisters exchanged gloomy glances as if they barely believed Shiver's words. Why is she acting like this? Gold asked in her mind.
"What are we going to do, Fauna?" Gestra asked the girl with blonde hair. Fauna shot Gold a hostile look.
"Are you sure they came to visit you?" Fauna asked Shiver.
"We can't trust them, they are intruders." Gestra growled severely. Gold noticed as the rest of The Sisters nodded, do The Sisters intend to drive them out? Gold couldn't let that happen, not now that they found Shiver.
"We're here to visit Shiver, please let us talk to her." Gold asked politely. However, The Sisters continued to glance at them, and Gold wanted at least Fauna to trust them.
"Fine," she heard Fauna's calm voice, then she added more seriously, "but when you finish talking to her, you'll leave our territory, forever."
Gold hesitated, not knowing what to say, she wanted time to convince Shiver to go back home with them, but will it be possible?
"We'll do so" Ella replied, then she nodded to Fauna respectfully. Gold wanted to say something, but she bit her tongue, preferring to be silent than to do something stupid. Fauna did not reciprocate, just kept a close watch on Gold and the members. Shiver gestured for them to follow, Gold started first and Whiteflower was right behind her, but he stopped when Fauna looked at him as if she knew him, it makes Gold feel weird, so she stopped paying attention to it and followed Shiver. She saw Shiver walking towards the house near the camp. It must be her home. Gold thought, guessing. When Shiver opened the door quickly and she stepped in, Gold walked in right behind her. She noticed that Ash had already closed the door behind her when everyone entered.
"You don't know how glad I'm that we found you!" Gold said.
"Hush!" Shiver snarled. "Why are you here?"
Gold had the feeling that Shiver didn't recognize her, and even Gold didn't recognize Shiver, she was always kind and helpful.
"We came the other way because someone we know very well invaded our territory just to get back at Roxanne." Ella said calmly.
"Roxanne?" Shiver repeated, there was a fear in her eyes. Gold didn't understand why Shiver had been reacting fearfully to everything lately. Though she realized it had been a long time since Gold had last met her.
"Yes, it's me." Roxanne said hesitantly. Shiver shot Gold a stern look that made Gold hesitate. Have I done something wrong? Gold asked herself uncertainly.
"How dare you bring these intruders here into the heart of our territory?" Shiver asked her.
"But what do you mean?" Gold asked hesitantly. Shiver didn't answer, she looked tired and nervous about the situation. Gold wondered why Shiver was different? She didn't recognize her friend now.
"I don't trust them, Gold, you should too." Shiver replied.
"Why does Roxanne have anything to do with this?" Dark intervened. Shiver didn't answer him, she was still silent as if she didn't know what to say.
"They are my friends, I will always trust them." Gold said sharply.
"Okay," Shiver sighed calmly, she added, "why do you need my help?"
Gold told her how Foxy and his servants attacked their house and she told her everything in turn, Shiver was trembling at Foxy's name every time. Gold gave her the impression that she was saying something wrong, but these thoughts quickly disappeared in her mind.
"Our house has suffered, and our friends Alex and Lillie have been captured as well, I'm sure they need our help now." Gold was speaking. She was afraid that Shiver would not agree to go with them, although she tried to hold onto good cheer every second, it seemed to her that Shiver would not leave her house. Shiver suddenly gave a suspicious look, Gold saw that Shiver was still ignoring the rest of her friends.
“Foxy? Foxy Deshawn? " Shiver asked suspiciously. Gold's heart beat faster, and she felt uncomfortable when Shiver uttered Foxy's full name.
"Y ... yes." Gold stammered uncertainly. Shiver started shaking and she was not breathing calmly. Gold walked over to her, she saw Shiver stumbling over her legs.
"Are you okay Shiver?" Gold asked quickly. Shiver didn't answer, she calmed down and began to cough.
"It's okay." Shiver answered in a low voice. Gold looked at her friends confusedly, she saw them exchanging confused glances.
"Are you telling us that you know Foxy?" Sting asked. Shiver just nodded, still looking shaky. Gold, concerned, took one step back to give Shiver some room to cool down.
"But how?" Gold asked hesitantly. Before Shiver could say anything, a girl with dark brown hair entered the house.
"What did you do to her ?!" A girl with dark brown hair screamed menacingly. She ran to Shiver, who was barely standing.
"We didn't do anything, she felt weak when .."
Gold interrupted Shiver's weakened voice.
“Everything's fine, Hermione. It’s nothing."
Hermione pushed Gold and started defending Shiver.
"No wait!" Gold said.
“Get out of here! Any intruder is just trouble! " Hermione growled. Gold looked desperately at Shiver, she saw how her friend could not breathe calmly. Two more girls entered, it was Keira and Gestra.
"I knew they couldn't be trusted." Gestra said seriously.
"No Please! Let us tell you, we need help! "Gold pleaded. Gestra and Keira looked at Gold hesitantly, Shiver quickly stood by Gold's side.
"They didn't do anything, but their home is in danger." Shiver replied. Ella looked respectfully at Keira and Gestra who were still not sure what they were talking about.
"Please let us tell you everything, Shiver is our only hope." Ella muttered. Keira sighed heavily and fell silent, Gestra only glared at Gold with a stern glance. Gold had no idea why Gestra and the rest of The Sisters were so upset. We just ask for help, we don't want to cause them trouble. Gold thought.
“Alright, but you have to take an oath." Keira said.
"We will be loyal to you." Whiteflower said quickly. Keira looked hostile at Whiteflower, Gold quickly stood in the way of Whiteflower, she didn't want a bad atmosphere now.
"I promise we will." Gold said. Keira and Gestra nodded, Hermione released Shiver. Gold took a deep breath in and out with relief, hoping that at least the rest of The Sisters would listen to them.
"My name is Gold and this is Ella, the leader of our group." Gold said. Keira and Gestra turned to Ella, Gold felt they were ignoring her.
"Why have you brought enemies here into our territory?" Gestra asked. Enemies? When I have never seen them! Gold cried out in her mind.
"These are not enemies, but my members and friends." Ella replied calmly. Gestra didn't speak anymore, just rolled her eyes.
"The Sisters know each of their enemies." Hermione spoke up. Gold raised one eyebrow, she interested in Ella's conversation with Hermione, Keira, and Gestra.
"Why are you calling us enemies?" Ash asked.
"Not you, just girls named Gold and Roxanne." Keira replied. What have I done to them that they call me the enemy? Gold asked herself nervously. She always thought she had a good relationship with any wizard, but she was wrong. Gold nervously lowered her head, felt a hand on her wrist, she looked beside her. She saw Sting smiling at her, Gold still couldn't lighten up after what Keira said. She herself dreamed of becoming a powerful wizard like Shiver, will her dreams not come true?
"Why Gold and Roxanne?" Dark asked.
"Who are you?" Gestra asked hostile. Dark straightened, staring at The Sisters.
"I am Dark, the deputy leader." He introduced himself without emotion. Gestra just growled something under her breath.
"It's a pretty long story," Shiver said, "we just want to live in peace.”
Gold was still staring at Sting, who was watching the entire event. She wondered suddenly if Sting still had feelings for her, was it love or friendship? Gold forced Sting to release her wrist. It made Sting look scared.
"I don't understand, Gold and Roxanne were never in your territory." Ella continued to defend her members in the hope that The Sisters would stop being mean to them.
"It's different, because of these names our sister died." Keira said sadly.
"I have so many questions." Roxanne whispered to Gold. Gold has grown impatient, the longer they delay the worse, what if Lillie and Alex are dead? Gold approached The Sisters, courage did not hold her for long. She noticed that every girl from The Sisters is unusually tall, is it some kind of witchcraft or kinship?
"We don't have much time, Foxy won't stop until Roxanne and us are free." Gold told them. "We also want to live in peace, but we can't, because of Foxy.”
Keira made a surprised look, Gestra and Hermione looked at each other. Shiver just looked tired.
"Shiver and I are friends, she taught me magic called Voodoo." Gold explained. Suddenly a new voice greeted them, "what?”
It was Fauna, her eyes dark with worry. Dark and Ash let her pass, Gold saw Fauna's emotions she couldn't read.
"Is that true, sister?" Fauna asked softly. Shiver gritted her teeth as if she didn't want to say anything. Gold was watching Fauna patiently waiting for Shiver's answer. Was Shiver hiding our friendship? Gold asked in her mind. Gold thought that if she was actually hiding their friendship, that friendship must have been very important to Shiver. Gold began to sympathize with Shiver, carrying responsibility all this time.
"Yes, but not because she would use these powers against us, I just wanted to have apprentice and a friend." Shiver's voice was sad.
"So you are the reason why Cristie is dead?" Hermione asked in surprise. Shiver shivered with fear, Gold had no idea why they blamed her for Cristie's death. Gold decided to defend Shiver.
"She didn't want to betray you, she taught me many things." Gold said. But Shiver signaled to Gold that her speeches were going to be useless, and Gold desperately turned to her friends. I just wanted to help. She thought sadly.
"The Sisters won't forgive you, Shiver, you broke our most important rule." Fauna said. Shiver didn't argue, just nodded. Gold dreamed of helping Shiver, no matter what happened in the past, and she wanted to fix what had happened.
"I know, but I don't regret what I did anyway." Shiver said.
"How can you say that!?" Gestra growled. Gold reluctantly stopped looking at them, she didn't want to argue, but Shiver seemed to ignore Gester.
"I will take any punishment." Shiver said to Fauna. Fauna was still calm, standing there like a pillar, looking at Shiver. Gold looked at Shiver again, she felt slightly guilty for making Shiver in trouble. But she wanted this friendship, it's not your fault. She said to herself in thoughts.
"We'll talk about the punishment later, I just want to know why the intruders are here." Fauna said, her voice was still calm. Gold was about to say something, but Ella said for her. "Our house is in danger, we came here for Shiver."
Fauna looked at Shiver again, this time her gaze was menacing. Gold is starting to feel more confused than before, won't The Sisters trust Shiver anymore?
"So now, we know why they came to visit." Fauna said.
"They say their home was attacked by Foxy." Gestra added. Fauna made shocked face, but she said nothing. Gold swallowed nervously.
"Are you going to help them, Shiver?" Fauna asked. Shiver hesitated, not knowing what to say, there was fear in her eyes.
"I…don’t know." Shiver stammered softly. Whiteflower stood at Gold's side, giving Fauna a steady look.
"We ask you to trust us." Whiteflower said. Fauna was still unsure of her decision, Gold mentally in her thoughts pleaded The Sisters to trust them. She had the feeling that everyone was tired from the trip. If only they would let us stay until tomorrow. Gold asked in her mind.
"Did you take our oath?" Fauna asked. Whiteflower nodded, Gold realized Whiteflower knew The Sisters, but why didn't he tell them about them? Gold was sure that if he did, everyone would be ready for The Sisters county.
“Fine, The Sisters let you stay to rest." Fauna muttered. Gestra and Hermione were surprised, only Keira and Shiver had serious expressions.
"Thank you!" Ella said politely, "We are grateful to you."
Suddenly Gold felt a strong pain on her hands, Keira noticed that, she grabbed one of Gold's wrists to check Gold's entire hand.
"Your hand is hurt!" Keira said, “come on, I'll heal her with magic."
Gold nodded gratefully but felt a touch on her shoulder, she turned and her eyes met Sting.
Gold raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Will you be back soon?" Sting asked. Gold nodded hesitantly, then she followed Keira. However, before they reached home, she heard a conversation between Gestra and Fauna.
“Why did you let them stay? They're intruders, we shouldn't trust them! " Gestra said in panic voice. Gold paused for a moment, watching the two wizards.
"These are our guests, I entered their mind, they have no evil intentions." Fauna replied emotionally.
"We trusted the intruders once, remember how it ended?" Gestra asked courageously. Gold was embarrassed walking very slowly, she wondered what intruders they were talking about, did they mean Foxy? So what did Foxy want from The Sisters? Fauna did not respond to Gestra, only her eyes sparkled with unknown emotions.
"These must be what our ancestors told us." Fauna replied. Gold suddenly heard Keira calling her, she quickly ran to the wizard's house, Gold suddenly wondered what Fauna and Gestra were talking about. Did their "ancestors" send them prophecies about ... us?
