"Awww, look at her trying to hold her head up." I awed at the sight of Akilah trying to hold her own head up from laying on my breast.

"I see dat." Kevin smiled, softly pinching Akilah's cheek.

"Sooo...when you gon' stop playin and finally be ma girl." Kevin cleared his throat.

"Is that a polite way to ask, Kevin?" I questioned.

"Shi, what else yu want me to ask you like?"

"Listen..I would only become your girlfriend IF you apologize to both my parents." I said, making Kevin scoff immediately.

"Hell no, yo ass really think I was in da wrong?"

"Kev-"

"I can understand apologizin to yo dad but yo mama? Nah, she was da one gettin all rowdy wimme."

"Okay Kevin, I understand but if you just apologize to her first then she would most likel-"

"Yu heard wat I said, yari. Ian kissin yo mama ass, whether you like it or not." Kevin walked off with that, leaving me in thought.

My face was palmed in my hand in frustration and now sadness.

Why can't he just stop being prideful and apologize like the man he says he is?

That's when the waterworks came in...

"Yu hungry?" Kevin came back into the living room to only see me sitting down on the couch, slumped forward with my face in my palms.

"Yu hurd me?" Kevin came over to me and removed my hands from my face to only see me silently sobbing.

"Wats wrong?"

"N-nothing, just move." I sobbed, getting ready to leave the living room but only for him to quickly pull me on his lap.

"Hey, wats wrong? Why yu cryin?" He carrased my back.

"I-I don't even wanna talk about i-it anymore." I stuttered, wiping my eyes.

"Here yu go wit dishit, baby talk to me." He adjusts me more on his lap, making me feel more of him.

I sighed before speaking.

"All I want is you and both m-my parents getting along, Kevin. That's all I want..i-i'm tired of hearing my parents complain to me about having to come see you to drop off Akilah, it's just too much for me, yknow?" I sniffled.

Kevin just remained silent while rubbing my backside softly.

"Fine...but that means yu hav to spend da night wimme for at least 2 days."

"Deal but first I gotta see how my schedule is at work." I softly smiled.

"Damn, I forgot yo ass work at that lame ass store called burlington."

"It's not lame." I chuckled, softly hitting him.

"Shid, to me it is."
