"You got everything yu need?" Kevin asked, carrying the carseat of a sleeping Akilah while I looked around my room and my packed bags.

"Yeah I think s- waitt, I almost forgot about bringing this." I hurtled my way over to my closet, getting out this big brown teddy bear that I always go to sleep with when i'm alone.

My Dad gave me that special gift for my last birthday when I was turning 16.

I possibly have the best Dad in the world and don't try to argue with me about it.

Fuck your daddy.

"I already bought yu a teddy bear, why yu need anotha one?" Kevin asked, chuckling.

"It doesn't hurt to have two of them, y'know."

"Aight, well yu ready to go?"

"Absolutely." I smiled.

"Dang y'all leavin us? Take us wit c'yall." Dougie said, looking at us.

"Nah yu str8, we havin just me and her time." Kevin chuckled, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

"Oh damn, y'all takin da baby wit c'yall?"

"Duh, we ain't definitely leavin her here with c'yall and plus, she still a new ass baby comin into dis world and I ain't finna hav people takin care of her almost all the time." Kevin explained.

"I can undastand dat." Qwayshawn nodded his head.

After a few minutes of talking to them, we then shared our goodbyes before making our way to the car we rented to drive all the way to Miami, Florida.

We chose not to take the plane since we wouldn't want to put our baby in harm's way like her ears popping since we would be flying in the sky.

It probably wouldn't hurt her but i'm not taking any chances and I actually would want to enjoy the ride and look at all the cities and states we pass by anyway.

"You use the bathroom? Ion be wantin to make any early stops, na." Kevin said.

"Yes Kevin, I should be fine for the next 4 hours I believe." I said, getting in the front seat as he put Akilah's carseat in the back.

Akilah's carseat was facing it's back on the back of the passenger seat with a seatbelt being wrapped around it.

"Dis finna be a long ass ride, bruh." Kevin sighed.

"We can take turns drivin-"

"Nah, ian gon' let chu do that. Ion need ma baby exhausted nd shit aight?" He interrupted, getting in the driver seat, now leaning over and pecking my cheek softly.

"Babe, i'll be fi-"

"Yu hurd wat I said." He cut me off, now starting up the car and making his way on the road.

"PULL THE FUCKING CAR OVER!" I exclaimed, getting frustrated with Akilah's cries as Kevin continued driving.
