Silly Gabriel, silly Gabriel, silly Gabriel. She was thinking about him the whole time, even worried that he was covered in blood... Still... Silly silly silly.

"Marie, are you listening?"

"Huh?"

Oh yes, her little sister had been trying to get her attention for a while. She realized that she was still curled up with the puppy in her arms. The branches had covered almost the entire window, so there were barely any glimpses of the storm that was beginning outside.

Too bad the lightning bolts sounded damn good.

"Why are you so upset?" Anisa insisted. "Is it because of something the hero did? He seemed worried about you..."

"What did he do?" He got excited. "He..."

The moment when Delina threw herself at him returned to her mind. She was so excited to see him that it paralyzed her for an instant. She was about to rebel when she caught the other girl's face.

She was smiling at her. A wicked laugh broke out on her face. And she was staring at her. With all intentions. Then she vocalized something that made a strange fire settle in her chest.

She didn't know what to do, or what to say. And when Gabriel got closer, she couldn't hear what he was saying, she didn't want to know what anyone was saying, she didn't want to see anyone either. All she could do was pull away and get as far away as she could.

And here it was. That strange feeling hadn't gone away and she didn't know what to do with it. It hurt a lot.

"Marie, please tell me what's wrong" had to react to the girl's plea "Are you still afraid of monsters? Don't worry, the hero and his brother are here!" She thought about it for a moment "although the other seems a bit silly."

The girl looked in her direction and found the black-haired boy, delighted with her sisters' attentions.

"So that's Manuel" she mumbled.

But then she caught a glimpse of movement behind the group and her eyes widened.

Gabriel and...Julia?

"Where are they going?" She asked to herself, but Anisa heard her.

"Who?" She followed her gaze. "Oh, they...!" She thought about it. "I don't know."

Ponvi, who remained calm, groaned in concern.

She put him on the ground and said:

"Wait here."

"But..." the little ones tried to follow her.

She turned with a slight smile.

"Please."

Anisa blinked, but nodded. She picked up the cub and rubbed its back reassuringly.

Feeling calmer, she sighed heavily and walked discreetly to where they had gone.

The small closet where they kept their belongings was big enough for a medium-sized adult to fit into. The books, sheets, clothes and the occasional toy were arranged on small shelves, some more orderly than others.

For some reason she couldn't say, she decided to listen from behind the door instead of joining them, careful not to be noticed.

"Are you sure you want to bring me here?" The dark tone in Gabriel's voice made her snort. She hasn't heard him talk like that in a long time.

"You're right, it's inappropriate" there was also something strange in her sister's words. "It is the private territory of maidens, after all." She heard the dull sounds of objects being removed. "That is why the probability that they will listen to us here is less."
