Chapter 13

I woke up the next morning and Soda had already gotten up. I got out of bed and put on one of Soda’s oversized hoodies. I then walked out to the kitchen.

“Good morning,” Darry said as I walked into the kitchen.

“Good morning Dar, where is everyone?” I asked Dar, while rubbing my eyes awake.

“Oh there in the living room” Dar replied while drinking his coffee and getting ready to go to work.

“Okay thanks” I said while heading to the living room. The entire gang was sitting in the living room talking and watching Mickey Mouse.

“Good morning sunshine” Soda said as I came and sat on the couch next to him.

“Good morning,” I said with a smile. 

Soda then wrapped his arm around me and I cuddled into him.

“Jeez, could you guys get any closer,” Pony says to me and Soda while laughing. 

“In fact we can” Soda says while moving me on to his lap. 

“Smart ass” Soda says to Pony as everyone besides Pony starts dying laughing.

“Wait, is that my hoodie?” Soda says while wrapping his hands around my waist.

“Oh yeah sorry I can-” But Soda cut me off.

“No, keep it. It looks way better on you” Soda says while resting his head on my shoulder. I start to rub Soda’s head as I talk to the gang.

“So what are you guys doing tonight?” I ask the gang.

“Well Pony, Johnny, and me are going to the movies tonight doll” Dall says while sharpening his switchblade. 

“What about you Two?” I ask while still rubbing Soda’s head.

“Well there’s this party that me and Steve are thinking about going to, do you wanna come?” Two asked while looking up from the TV.

“What do you think Soda?” I asked him while lifting up his head.

“Yeah that sounds fun” Soda said while laying his head back down.

“Alright what kinda party is this?” I looked at Steve and asked.

“Well it won't be too bad but take your blade just incase” Steve said while sharpening his Switch.

Later in the night I was at home getting ready. When Two-Bit asked if I was ready to go. I told him almost but I was trying really hard to look cute. I walked out into the living room where all three boys were waiting for me. 

“Dang Anns, you look beautiful” Soda said as he got up from the couch and walked over to me.

Soda, Steve, Two, and I all got in Two’s car and we headed to the party. Soda and I sat in the back and Soda had his arm around me the entire time.

We walked into the party and Soda still had his arm around me. The boys and I had an amazing night. We danced the entire night, and I may have gotten a little drunk, but nothing I couldn’t handle. Soda didn’t drink at all, which wasn’t surprising. Two and Steve on the other hand though drank so much that we practically had to drag them out of there at the end of the night.

Me and Soda had an amazing night together, we danced and laughed and just had the time of our lives. Soda had to go to the bathroom and so I just hung around Two and Steve. This one guy tried coming up to me but luckily Soda came back at that moment.

At the end of the night Soda took me and Two home, and then he and Steve just went back to his house. I got Two-Bit to bed since he was very drunk.

When I finally got into my bed I looked up at the ceiling and I just couldn’t stop thinking about Soda, his smile, his laugh, and his scent of cologne and oil. I fell asleep thinking about Soda who I was convinced I was truly in love with.
