Law
"Well it's a guy and I mean I guess I would define him as cute, yeah." Law felt his cheeks become red thinking about Luffy.
"What do you think about him? Is he kind?" Marco smiled giving Law a coffee from a vending machine before he sat next to Law on a bench.
Law laughed, "Kind is an understatement. He's so nice it's almost terrifying. What's even scarier is he relies on his gut to decide if someone is good or not." Law couldn't help but smile and chuckle at the thought but soon frowned, "He gave one look at me and thought I was a good person but he's wrong." Fire flared into Law's mind with screams of terror and death making his ears ring.
Marco laid his hand on Law's shoulder comfortingly.
"It's funny don't you think? No one's ever said anything to me like that even though all that I've done and witnessed."
There was silence between the two before Law stiffened up, "Anything else you wanted to ask?"
Marco looked to the side for a moment taking a drink of his tea. "What is he to you? If he's not really a friend."
Law looked at him for a moment before his feet. 'What is Straw-Hat-ya to me?'
"I wouldn't say he's a friend. His friends don't even like me and I think he's oblivious always dragging them alone when he comes to find me or really attacking me with cuteness and smiles 24-7" Law laughed blushing feeling his heart beat faster while a warm feeling filled his chest.
There was more silence between them before Marco busted out laughing.
Law turned red, "H-hey! What ate you laughing for!"
"In all my years of knowing you, I've never seen you smile and laugh when talking about someone unless it was Cora-san." Marco struggled to calm himself down.
"Well-I-The kid just has that effect on me alright! My heart beats so fast and crazy it makes my head spin and my chest filled with this- this feeling!" Law stumbled looking away.
"You realize why your feeling like this don't you?" Marco wiped tears from his eyes.
Law knew exactly what he was feeling. He was a doctor for crying out loud! But Law couldn't help thinking he didn't deserve someone so bright and innocent as Luffy. Law's hands were covered with sin and didn't deserve happiness as his father and friends say. If Luffy was the sun, he would be the moon. If Luffy was the summer, Law was the winter. And if Luffy was water, Law was the fire. He just wouldn't deserve someone so loving and caring as Luffy.
Marco looked at Law's distant look, "You're overthinking again Law." Marco sighed looking at Law. "Why don't you give it a chance? It wouldn't hurt. You don't know, maybe it'll work out. Trust me. I'm sure he has secrets he's keeping just like you. You'll be surprised just go for it. If you ever need help I'm right here with your other friends and I'm sure my boyfriend would love to give you tips and help out as well." Marco stood up.
"Alright, but how do I know if he likes me back?" Law got up as well throwing his coffee can away and walking with Marco.
"Well most times you can just tell or even it just happens. You'll just have to wait and see for yourself. Now if you would pardon me. I have to ask for tomorrow and the day after off." Marco gave a sinister giggle.
"If you don't mind me asking, why?" Law looked at him weirdly.
"I just won a 24-hour favor with a juicy ass back home." He laughed again.
Law didn't even want to ask knowing it was something dirty.
Marco
Marco walked into his house smiling when he saw the signature orange of his lover hanging in the open closet making him smile. He took off his shoes putting them next to Ace's combat boot's and laid his keys on the shelf in the closet. "Ace I got a surprise for you!" He walked through the short hallway entered the living room and looked around.
Footsteps thundered down the stairs, "Did you do it?! What did he say?" Ace rushed forgetting to take a breather getting light-headed, falling over but Marco caught him before he could hit the floor.
"Don't worry. Just take a moment to breathe first." Marco giggles holding his lover close with their noses touching. Once Ace calmed down Marco pulled his phone out of his pocket handing it over to Ace with the voice recording up. "Now you get to hear what he sounds like and-" Marco kissed Ace's neck whispering, "I get extra brownie points so it turns 24 hours into 36 hours of whatever I want~"
Marco could see and feel Ace shiver biting his bottom lip with red dusted across his face, "But work."
"I already took care of it. I got three days off of work and I asked Pop if you could have three as well." Marco said kissing Ace on the lips before getting a drink from the fridge.
"Maaaaarcooooo," Ace whined. "36 hours nonstop will kill me. I know how you are. What about stamina?!"
Marco chuckled evilly, "I'll make a deal with you then. You go the full 24 hours. Then if you can't handle the 14 hours we can just finish on a different day."
Ace glared at Marco, "There's a catch and I know it all too well! It's like making a deal with the devil only if it was a pineapple bird brain!"
"Okay okay. You're right there is a catch." Marco took another drink, "If you can't make it through the full 24 hours I can add an hour to each hour you missed." Marco gave an evil giggle, "I'm going to take a shower. Once you finish the recording it's on~" He said in a rough seductive voice making Ace visibly shiver and redden even more.
