Law
Law watched as Luffy's crew crowded around the bed Luffy was using looking worried for Luffy and giving death glares to Law. Law was setting next to Luffy on the chair he had borrowed to patch up Luffy.
"Captain what happened!" Usopp asked worried taking notice of the patch on Luffys face covering a cut, "Did you kidnap him and hurt him to keep him quiet?!" Quickly Usopp jumped back pulling out what looked like a slingshot. It was small and black with something loaded in it.
Law noticed all of Luffy's crew either had weapons or were hand-to-hand combatants. Nami had an orange staff. Robin had a dagger hidden on her belt but pulled out just enough so she could quickly draw it. Zoro obviously had his swords ready to pull them out. Sanji stood in a stance ready to pounce at a moment's notice using his legs to fight. Brook drew a purple cane sword just enough for Law to see it as if a warning. There were also three others Law didn't recognize. A man with blue hair holding up his fist, a taller man with a bright red sun tattoo on his chest in a karate stance, and a small dog on the ground growling at Law.
'Does this school not have a no weapons policy or what?!' Law got a little nervous. He was strong enough to fight and hold his own but with nine people surrounding him with weapons. Law had a weapon he fought with too but it was at home. It was a katana. 104cm, carbon steel, called Kikoku (trans. "Demon Wail")
Law didn't let his composure break as he looked at them dead-faced with no emotion showing in his eyes. As he was about to say something Luffy looked at his crew with this glare that sent shock waves making Law shiver. Luffys voice was serious, "Lower your weapons. You know what the rule is. Law did nothing to me. Instead, you should be thanking him for helping patch me up."
Luffy's crew looked at each other still standing watching Law but Nami sighed putting her staff back into a bad on the belt. Soon after everyone followed but Zoro. Luffy smiled again, amazing Law at how well he could switch between emotions.
"So what happened captain?" Sanji said lighting a smoke and walking over to a window near Luffy.
"I went looking for Traffy when some people got in my way." Luffy summarized.
"So that's why there's a bunch of thugs on the ground." Zoro sighed.
"Geeze captain! Can you go one minute without causing trouble?!" Nami growled rapping Luffys cheek and pulling it.
"I'm sowy." He struggled to say.
Robin laughed lightly, "What was it you needed with Traffy captain?" She asked.
"Oh yeah!" Luffy said with a large smile turning to Law, "I was wondering if you could come-"
Luffy was cut off by Law's phone ringing and a loud high frequency noise making all of them jump but Law, Zoro, Sanji, and Robin.
"Give me a moment, " Law said before grabbing his phone seeing it was Marco. He answered it putting it on speaker while pulling out the hospital pager from his bag.
"Law. Get to the hospital now. We didn't know the pager would reach you there." Law turned off the pager before throwing it back in his bag and jumping up.
"What's the problem?" Law became serious.
"We have a code 3 heading here now. A bullet train crashed with about 300 passengers in critical condition. Those who weren't were sent to different hospitals in the area depending on their severity." Marco said, "This way! Get this one to the operating room now!"
"I'm on my way." Law said hanging up before rushing to the door of the nurses' office and turning around to see everyone looking at him, "Luffy I don't want you to mess with your bandages and someone please make sure he changes them at least two or three times a day. If you start to feel any pain, get infected, or reopen call me." Law handed his number to Robbin who was the closest before he rushed out heading to the hospital.
Luffy
Luffy watched Law run out of the nurses' office and sighed, "That's the second time something got in the way."
"Luffy are you alright? He said bandages and if it reopens to call him." Brook worried.
"I'm fine. It was just a few scratches. Plus Traffy fixed me up all good as new." Luffy smiled easing Brooks's worries.
"Captain," Robin said holding the slip of paper.
"It's in my hoodie pocket." He smiled.
Robin walked over picking it up before seeing just how badly Luffy was hurt. She caught Zoro and Sanji's attention showing them the damage and making sure the others didn't see it. Both Zoro and Sanji looked at each other and sighed with small smiles on their faces.
"What was all of that about? It sounded pretty important." Franky said.
"Law's a surgeon at the hospital near here," Nami answered taking a seat, "But are you sure you're fine? Law seemed to know what he was talking about why are you wearing his hoodie?"
Luffy lifted the hoodie a little looking at its design. It was a plain black hoodie but had different-sized dots along the bottom with a weird large smiley face in yellow. For some reason, Luffy had felt like he had seen this same simple somewhere before but couldn't place where. He pushed it aside, 'I'll look into it later.' He thought.
"It's fine. Law patched me up and gave me his hoodie due to mine getting messed up a bit." Luffy smiled.
"I guess if you're okay. That's all that matters. Anyways let's go before the nurses get back and start asking questions." Nami got up heading towards the door of the nurses' office with everyone but Zoro, Sanji, and Robin following.
Zoro and Sanji walked over to Luffy helping him up, "Thanks." He said just loud enough for Robin, Zoro, and Sanji to hear.
They nodded their heads walking out with everyone else, "Whatever you need."
