Ace's POV

I herd the rev of motorbikes engines as I walked sadly towards the rest of the group. I stopped dead. They were getting louder and louder- then the sound was almost deafiing! I frantically turned between the group which had now turned around in the direction the noise was coming from. I couldn't help it- I ran. Faint screams from the rest of the group were drummed out by my heart beat and my breath. My friends form classes and my last class that had been in the Sports center before had been transported to this shit hole with not a single person around.

As I ran I remembered them joking about being transported to another dimension by the moon, surely they had been joking. I remembered Sky's in disbelief voice and her saying 'OH I'LL TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED! First we get transported to a parallel universe and then spend a while entire month there, next we sleept in the-'. She had been cut off by Makayla. Surely! Surely they were joking, but now I was kinda doubting that- were they really joking? I shoved the thought to the back of my head as I ran, out of breath across the bridge over the railways to one of the schools. I froze.

There they were! They were in protective gear so they wouldn't get hurt ridding which made it harder to tell who they were- they all had helmets on which made it impossible to tell who was who. Then I saw it, blonde hair-in a plat, swishing in the wind. That! For sure was no doubt Makayla! I watched them ride around the corner to were I couldn't see them anymore and then ran for the shops, which was were I had seen them come from. Out of breath I stopped at the entrance to the walkway ramp down into the shopping centre's car park. I looked up to see if anything had changed. Holy shit! There was a spray painted message.

I whirled around to the mob of students and a couple of teachers finally catching up to me. "Before you get mad or anything! JUST! Look down there!" I panted out of breath and pointed behind me at the car park below us. It said ' Thought we herd someone,heading FOR GKI / Great Keppel'. I herd Makalya and Sky's form teacher mutter " GKI? What did Makayla say about Great Keppel when she said she went? Wait! She called it GKI! GREAT KEPPEL ISLAND! SHE MEANS THE ISLAND! Of course! She said it ran either on solar or hydro power!" and she started another conversation with another teacher while the others got us into a group agian to head to the bigger primary shcool's hall to stay for the day.

It was for sure my friends I had seen but I didn't dare say anything about to the teacher's or anyone else. I was full of excitement at the fact they hadn't disappeared as well, but I also felt curious about how easily they had gotten away and they were absolutely fine- they wouldve been freaking out if this was their first time here. Wait......no! It couldn't be- could it? Holy fucking shit! They had been here before! Otherwise they wouldn't've ran. I sirously had to find them and how and what they had to say about this place. Sky had mentioned parallel universe, whatever the fuck that ment. I need to get away from this group and now- my friends have got awnsers and I needed to find them ASAP!
