I watched as the teacher's and students talked amongst eachother like we weren't there. I cleared my throat. "Hmmh were right here you know?" I asked awkwardly just standing there. It was my firm teacher that spoke first and I could tell by her voice she was more scared than she was mad at me. "Makayla what were you thinking! I mean...good thinking for heading for Great Keppel Island considering it still has power- but why did you guys run away?" She asked in a somewhat calm tone. I stuck to our story using my best acting skills i said "A few of us went to the toilet, the rest of us came out to see what they were doing and of course we all were a bit worried so we didn't want to be alone for too long and thats when we swore we herd motorbikes" I finished putting on the most believable performance I could.

Either my acting was way better than I thought or my teacher knew I was lying and was hidding it as she stood there for a few seconds and then talked with the other teachers. "I do remember hearing something that sounded somewhat like motorbike engines being turned on on the first night- that's what you must off herd" my form teacher said and I nodded this time Sky spoke and I was glad it seemed more realistic than just me speaking." Yeah, we thought they were close so we ran towards the gate and once we were out of the gate just outside on the pathway we....I swear we could hear them coming closer so we ran until we couldn't and the we realised we had stuffed up- we were lost and Makayla had the brilliant idea to head for Great Keppel hopping you guys would follow our clues".

"So you guys left the clues- and I see you found Ace" another teacher said. "Yeah, we found Ace a bit further down the road after you guys must of scared us in Gracemere, we came back to try and check it out on to find Ace walking down the road with and almost flat phone" I said and she nugged me, I glared daggers at her and shook my head ever so slightly. She understood, once we finished talking and we were making our way to our room at the hotel she punched me in to arm and said "liar". "What! What else would you have me say? We found you, well I found you on the road at kepple sands wondering by yourself cause you biked there all night long? Okay sure! Let me just-" I was talking in a hushed tone and Ace just punched me again and said "Keep walking".

I laughed, we all did until miss Millde told us to stop punching eachother and hurry up walking to our room. "Uhh Makayla!" She called as I was about to go in to our room after Ace. "Yeah?"- I walked back down the stairs to the level below us-" yes miss? Is there something you want me to do?" I asked when she just stood there for a few seconds. "Oh! Ahh- I was thinking, yes can you help explain how you steer those huge Freedom Fast Cats" she said kinda focusing on something else on her mind. She was for sure not just thinking, I knew that face, she was going over her thoughts trying to figure out something.

The sun was about to set but I showed her how to steer the boat and she said "Since non of us teachers clearly know how to steer this behemoth your going to steer it over there and if you don't mind me being here then I can watch you, because they'd probably want someone to do that". "Huh- yeah I can get that they'd wanna watch a student drive a boat over the open ocean......I've gota say though, your alot less freaked out then I thought you'd be" I told her. "What? About the whole you guys disappearing?" She questioned me, she had half a confused, half questioning look on her face. "Oh! No, I knew you were worried about us when we disappeared, you didn't seem so mad though, I guess you were just relieved to see us alive heh"- her expression turned into a blank face, whatever that ment-" but.... I ment the fact that I know how to steer these huge boats" I awnsered her question and her expression changed back into a smile.

"Oh you ment the boat! No, I rember you said you went over to Great Keppel on one of the Freedom Fast Cat ferries, I knew you'd find out how to steer it even without seeing the cabin. But what I didn't know is that you already knew how to steer it, let alone you knew I was pushing myself to be mad at you for running away and you did that for a reason, but I was concerned about how good you were at acting and the fact im only see it now" she said looking me in the eyes. I looked around, double taked and blinked. Did... did my teacher just threaten me that she knew something? Hey at least she said my acting was good and I don't care if she knew or not that I was acting here but I had to get the message across.

"And how would you know that... let alone the fact that I knew how to steer the boat?" I already knew that awnser but to here it come from her would mean she knew everything. "Simple- this isn't your first time here. I saw you at the PA staffroom on that day and suddenly your jumpers around your waist when it's fucking cold as hell outside"- did my teacher just swear-" not to mention your tanned more then you were a month ago....oh! And don't let me forget you jumped when you herd Ace's voice. You have been here before and if I'm right that was the day of the eclipse and I swear you came back at the same time you left. But that dosent bother you does it? Cause we probably won't remember, won't we?" She said, her point made and with a whickedly wicked stare she stared into my eyes with a confident smirk across her face.
