Makayla's POV

Walking was not fun. And it still is! If someone says I have to walk another kilometer anywhere I'm personally going to kill them and then im gona be dead myself. We had walked from Roslyn bay to Keppel Sands and we're trying to take a lunch break but kids just want to run around. How the fuck do they have soooo much energy? I guess being a feild hockey goalkeeper is taking it out on my back and knees, killing them.

"I'm not cut out for this much walking!" I whined to my friends who were also either dying and breathing heavily or either sculling water out if their water bottles. "Hey"- more deep breaths-" stop guys we just refilled them!" Ace said rubbing her own chest enjoying the affect water has on your tired lungs. "Say's you! You just sculled half your water bottle- my auntie's fridge doesn't have anymore cold water!" I said too tired to speak, ending up having to catch my breath afterwards. "Come on kido's, we're walking to Rockhampton!"- some even had the breath to whine, other just groaned-" Ahh come on it's half the distance! And would you rather us walk now or be stuck out here in the dark at night!" The teacher's pitching in one sating a their peice and then another, one at a time.

Makayla!"- my form teacher called me over and I instantly knew they didn't know the way back-" can you stick with us at the front, your friends can too- it's just.....you know the way back from here better than anyone here" she whispered to me and as I turned to look at my friends I actually rolled my eyes. A second later my friends appeared by my side and I filled them in.

"That's crazy that even they don't know the way back!" Aquilla whispered to us as she dusted of her ass from sitting on the beach earlier. "How about try insane!" Felicity hissed raising her eyebrows. "Even absurd! The fact that they trust you... geez Makayla!" Sky said stretching out the word geez. "Don't get us lost!" Ace whispered, trying to be a bit funny. I hit her lightly on the top off her shoulder. "Just walk otherwise I'll make you go the wrong way!"I spoke in my normal tone for once. Sky, Aquilla and Flic burst into laughter and a couple kids behind us did as well. In my head I imagined telling her to go a certain way and she fell into a puddle of water on the bank of the Fitzroy.
