Makayla's POV

we played Mario kart after breakfast and when I herd Ace saying she wanted to smash us she wasn't lying. She was a demon with the items you could get. Once, Sky was about to finish a race first when Ace came out of nowhere and started firing those little fire balls from the fire flower at her and Sky's character metallic Mario spun on the spot. "Yes! YES! HAHA! What? ACE- YOU DEVIL! NO NO NO!" Sky yelled and I came around the corner a second after Ace as normal Mario.

I raced as him because metal Mario had to much weight and I fired a green shell which i was nortourious for, aiming at her and hitting her. Her character span around on the spot as well- I passed her as my character cheered and drove across the finish line ending the race for me. "HAHA! BOOM!" I yelled as I crossed the line.

Ace didn't say anything but she did give me a rude finger, which I mimicked back. After endless amount of games an hour later Ace went to sleep. We packed as we let her sleep for another hour and a half, then came the decision, who would wake up the sleepy human and risk being strangled. Non of us for certain were really willing to do it but in the end I ended up hating rock papper scissors more.

I walked quietly into the room and placed a hand on their arm only for it to be grabbed and pulled away from me. "Ace! Can I have my arm back!" I hissed at her tight grip, she released my hand and I instantly started massaging it. "Why are you waking me up?" a really sleepy voice said and Ace stretched. "Cuz, we need to go, were heading for the Marina" I said in a hushed tone. She kicked me out of the room and began packing her things while she woke up.

The group of our classmates and teachers must of either skipped this place or headed straight for Roslyn Bay. We took one of the cars this time and by the time we got the the caffe which doubled as a hotel it was miday and it was hot. Nothing like 40°Celsius heat to give you a nice burn on your already to tanned skin from being burnt too much and that was my falt for not wearing any sunscreen while I went kayaking for two  whole hours on a grade ten leadership camp. We'd just been for a swim on the beach as it was the only way to cool off when we saw the group come down the road.
