Wukong's ear twitched as he heard the familiar jingle of your keys before the door opened. His tail swished behind him as he lifted his gaze from the television to greet you, but his words fell on deaf ears as you strolled past the couch and headed for your bedroom.

"...okayyy," Wukong dropped the remote and quickly trailed after you. When he reached for your doorknob, he was shocked to find it locked. He frowned as he jiggled the knob and called out to you, "Uh, peaches? Can you let me in?"

There was no response.

Wukong's brows knitted together as he pressed his ear to the door and listened. What he heard broke his heart as the soft sniffles and sobs from within made his grip on the knob tighten. He slowly backed away from the door and left the apartment.

You were curled into a ball on your bed, soft shivers ran throughout your body. The stinging pain of the tears flowed from your eyes and landed on your blanket. You didn't want to your boyfriend see you this upset, which is why you ignored his call from the door.

It was a particularly bad day. The kind of bad day that left you feeling defeated and absolutely done with everything.

You sniffed again as you pressed your face further into the soft mattress, yet the sounds of tapping on your window made your face scrunch up in confusion.

You ignored the sound as some bird that came to ruin more of your day. After a few more seconds, you thought the bird went away until you heard Sun's voice call your name. You slowly slipped off of the bed and drag your feet to the window.

You pulled the curtains apart and jumped when the grinning face of the Monkey King greeted you. The two of you stared at each other for an uncomfortable amount of time before Sun cleared his throat and pointed to the lock.

You blinked a few times before undoing the latch and pushing the window up. "Why were you outside of the window...?"

"Well, you wouldn't let me in the normal way so I had to improvise! And it worked, didn't it?" Sun winked at you.

"Yeah," You felt a corner of your lips rise in an attempt to smile. Yet that smile quickly faltered as you glanced to the side. You turned on your heel and sat on the edge of the bed, Sun's playful attitude lessened as he climbed through the window and took a seat beside you.

"Look, I...I just want to be alone right now," You whispered as you gripped the material of your long sleeves.

"Oh, why? Is something wrong?" Sun asked as he leaned forward to look at your face.

"I..." The moment he spoke those words, you cracked and the waterworks began flowing before you could stop them. You slightly turned your body to face him and crashed into his arms, which Sun happily pull you closer.

You babbled about the many things that went wrong today; from running late to your job, getting scolded by your boss, dealing with rude customers, and even tripping in front of a crowd and spilling your lunch on the floor. Every single instance left you feeling more humiliated than ever.

"Shhh, shhh, that's all over now, don't focus on those things and just keep your mind on the now...and well, me," Sun murmured into your ear as he stroked your back. You only hummed as you squeezed your eyes shut.

"Y'know....if you want I can try and keep your mind off of those things for a while..." Sun's tone changed and his hands that rubbed your back lowered until they stopped to grip your hips. You shuddered as Sun gently pushed you onto your back, he made sure you were resting against the pillows before he began tugging your top off.

You helped him and watched as he carelessly chucked the article of clothing over his shoulder. Your eyes snapped back to gaze at the monkey peppering your bare skin with kisses.

Each kiss left you feeling hotter than ever, and his eyes occasionally met yours whenever a soft groan left your lips.

Eventually, the haunting thoughts of previous events slipped through your mind as Sun's kisses began traveling downward.

Seems like this will be a bad day to remember.
