It's a beautiful day outside. The birds are singing, flowers are blooming. On days like these, celestial beings like you were lounging underneath the shade of a tree.

The breeze felt nice against your multi-colored fur. Your ringed tail thumped against the ground lazily, you slowly opened your eyes and took in the beauty of Flower Fruit Mountain. Your brother had business with his sworn brothers and insisted you'd met them, but you weren't ready to meet a whole new group of people at once.

The mere thought of having all those eyes on you made your ears flatten against your skull. Nonetheless, Azure was sympathetic and allowed you to come along to at least get comfortable traveling to places other than home.

You slowly closed your eyes as a smile appeared on your face. Azure was the best brother you could ever ask for, heck he was the only thing you could call family at this point. The lion practically raised you after he found you on a battlefield against a bunch of demons.

The whereabouts of your parents were still unknown, maybe they died, or maybe they retreated and abandoned you in the process. Whatever happened, you didn't care since you had your brother.

The memories slowly faded from your mind as the ambiance of the mountain lulled you. The type of weather didn't bother a red panda such as yourself, especially when you were relaxing near a body of water---more specifically a waterfall.

As your breath slowed and your body went lax, your consciousness began to slip ever so slowly.

...

You felt something ticklish on your nose as it twitched. The ticklish feeling left for a second when you rubbed your face, but it returned the moment you lowered your hand.

You opened your eyes a smidge and gasped when you saw a butterfly resting on your face. You were cautious as you sat up and moved one of your fingers to the butterfly. The butterfly seemed to notice your nudging finger and walked onto it.

A small squeal left you as you examined the strange creature, its wings were a unique pattern of...wait...the more you looked at its wings, the more you could make out the face of a monkey.

"Aren't you a pretty one?" You mused as you watched the butterfly flutter it's wings. You rose a brow as the butterfly...smiled-? Whatever, you were pulled from the strange observation when another insect landed on you.

Your ear flicked as something crawled on it, thinking it was another butterfly you reached up to offer your finger to the bug. Once you felt the bug crawl on you, you lowered your hand and found a ladybug staring back at you.

"Am I lucky or what?" You giggled as you examined the cute spots on the smaller bug. The butterfly flew over to your other finger and landed on the back of the ladybug. The ladybug tried getting the butterfly off, but gave up and allowed the butterfly to rest on it's back.

"If only Azure was here to see this..." Your laughter quietened as you sighed. This seemed to have caught the attention of the bugs as they watched you look up at the sky. "I wonder what he's doing right now..."

You shifted your gaze back to the bugs and grinned, "At least I have you two to keep me company, but why I wonder why you two came to me off all things...hm..-"

The butterfly tilted its head before answering, "We were bored and decided to sneak off, didn't expect to meet a cutie like you out here though."

"Wukong-!" The ladybug exclaimed as he snapped his gaze to glare at the butterfly.

"What-? It's true, isn't it? Plus, I'm sure Azure wouldn't mind if we kept his guest compa-" Wukong paused when Macaque pointed at you. He turned his head and paled when he saw your not-so-good expression.

"W-wait...don't scream-"

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

You flung your arms to get the bugs off and scrambled to get away.

You weren't thinking clearly. How could you when two insects were talking to you?

This made you forget that a literal lake was in front of you. When you tripped again you landed face-first into the body of water.

The cold shock of the water made you freeze as your limbs flailed around trying to swim up to the surface. However, you never learned to swim...wonderful.

A large splash made you look up and see an unfamiliar face swimming toward you. Soon, your waist was grabbed as an unfamiliar face swam up to the surface.

You were thrown onto the edge of the lake and the monkey that rescued you began shaking the water off of themselves.

"Don't ever do that again," The dark-furred monkey hissed at you before collapsing on the ground. He wasn't unconscious, no, but he was tired from the cold shock he also received. Plus the wind on damp fur wasn't a nice feeling.

"Are you okay?" Another monkey, this time with a tan shade of fur, crouched beside you and leaned in at an uncomfortable closeness. "Need the kiss of life?"

Your cheeks were grabbed by the monkey and squished by him. You couldn't lean back, much less speak properly because he gripped your face, and replied, "I-I tink, sorry four tah tay I actid, I..um...were buu-?"

"The pretty butterfly? Yes, that was mwah, the name's Sun Wukong, sweetness!" Wukong puffed his chest out as he grinned.

His grin faltered into a thin line as he jabbed his thumb in the other monkey's direction. "And that's Macaque, the ladybug...not much lady, but meh."

'Macaque' threw up his middle finger.

"Oh..okay," You whispered as you glanced down at your damp clothes. Great...now what would your brother say-

"What the..." Azure stepped through the foliage and arrived at the peculiar scene. Due to all the noises and screams, he rushed over to the spot he left you at.

Well, speak of the devil.

"Oh, hey! Found your mysterious guest! Y'know, if you wanted to bring your girlfriend, you could've just told us-"

"That's my sister."

"....oh."
