Macaque 'ported into the dojo to check on you, but ducked under a thrown spear that lodged into the wall behind him.

"Fuck!"

"Language, kid," Macaque grabbed the spear and yanked it out of the wall. He examined it before switching his gaze to your disheveled form, "I don't remember teaching you cuss words."

You growled and walked to snatch the spear from him, "So?"

"So don't cuss, m'kay?" Macaque reached over to place his hand on your head, but you dodged his palm and glared at your so-called mentor....well...unofficial guardian to be precise.

You still remember the two of you meeting like it was yesterday. You're a kid/teen that was homeless and abandoned by your biological parent(s). You made a desolate dojo your home to get off of the streets.

What you didn't expect was the demon that came along with the 'desolate' dojo. After co-existing with each other for a few days, the demon named Macaque saw a bit of potential in you after seeing you defend yourself from a mugger in an alley. Of course, he made sure you didn't get harmed badly and stepped in at the right moment.

After that day, Macaque decided to offer you a chance to train under him. You weren't stupid to refuse training from a seemingly powerful demon such as him and agreed. However...it's been a slow process to exercise your body and keep up with his boring meditation sessions. Everything felt like a hindrance to the real training you witnessed Mk, the Monkey's successor, received from Macaque.

When that scheme was over, you couldn't help but want to be trained the same way Mk was. You needed this type of training, not the slow-ass 'training' you were taught already.

"Whatever," You grumbled as you pointed the sharp end at your teacher. "Are we learning something new today or are we still on the same boring shit-"
