No one knew who I was, they all new me by different names.
Most didn't hurt but the random ones did, they were very creative when it came to some of the names, my favourite has to be "llama killer". They never knew my actual name was Alexis, but why would they ask that. My teachers didn't even call me by that name, they all said my last name.
"Spites" the teacher would say. I would raise my hand, then lower it as quick as they saw it. "Fucking freak" said by someone close to me with brown hair, and wearing what seemed to be the thinnest shirt you could possibly buy since I could see every detail in the bra she wore.
I ignored it, like every other word said by others. 'Wish I could just listen to my music and drown out your annoying voices' but of course, there was a "no music" policy at my school.
"I want you to write a short story, anything that comes to mind" announced the teacher. I loved writing, it was one of my get always from these assholes. "Why don't you write a suicide note" said one of the guys in front of me.
"Nah, that would be too easy. How about you write about how you're going to kill yourself" said the girl earlier. I tried to ignore that last comment, but it seeped in like all the others.
Just making another pile of insults that digs me a bigger grave in my sole.

Lunch was maybe the worst time. In class I could at least work on something, I would get the random paper thrown at me, or even better a frog.
But when it came to lunch, I wasn't even able to sit and eat.
I was always on the run from everyone. They would throw everything at me. Not kidding.
Their best throws were always food. Sometimes book, maybe even a tennis ball if I'm lucky. My usual spot where I could actually eat was outside under the bleachers. They never could find me there surprisingly.
I even eat out here in the rain, but I always find a dry spot somewhere under them.
Thank god it never snows, or I would never be able to survive the 45 minutes of torture.
But it wasn't till one day when I went to hide from the assholes, my usual routine, when I found someone hiding under the bleachers himself.
He had dark slick hair that was pulled to the side that crossed across his face. He wore a black band shirt, with dark green skinnies. He also wore black converse, about the same as mine that I had worn.
I just starred at him, not sure what to do. He hadn't noticed me standing in front of the bleachers.
"Umm.." I still stood in front, now making it clear I was standing there.
He finally looked up at me and I couldn't tell the full details but he had the greenest of eyes. I wanted to get closer and have a better look, but I didn't want to be a total creep.
"Oh, hi" he said to me, now looking at my appeal, seeing I wore navy blue skinnies and a black Baggie sweater that would really be for a person about 3 sizes bigger than myself. He looked at me and I just looked at him. Didn't say anything. Just looked.
"Am I in your spot? Sorry if I am"
I blinked a couple times trying to get back to reality. "No it's fine, but yeah you kinda are. But like I said its fine." I lowered my head and joined him under the bleachers.
"Are you new here?" I asked, I had never seen him before and I didn't want to be rude.
"Yeah. I didn't want to stay inside, it's too nice outside to be inside sitting" he looked up at the sky making it clear that was his actual reasoning for being outside.
"Yeah.. It's nice" I looked down and took a bit of my sandwich I packed myself. It was only lettuce and a tomato. I needed to go shopping for more food.
"Is that why your outside too?" He then starred at me, watching as I took a big bit of my sandwich. Bad timing.
I chewed as fast as I could, while covering my mouth to not look like a total cow. He just laughed at me as I panicked to chew and swallow my food. "Pardon?" I said still covering my mouth still full of food, but now had swallowed most of it.
"Are you out here because of the weather too?" He seemed like a little kid asking. "No, I sit out here everyday. This is my secret get away from the jerks inside" I looked down at my sandwich, now not feeling as hungry.
"Oh. Well I just got here, I haven't even really seen any of my classes or my piers yet. They said I had to find someone named Alexis Spites? I don't know. I left right after they told me to find her, do you know her?" I just laughed at what he had said, he didn't find it as funny as I did. Maybe because he didn't know what I was laughing at. He seemed kind of hurt as I calmed down.
"Sorry about that, but yeah I know her." I had a big smile on my face. "OH! Cool, could you show me to her?" He seemed very excited of the thought. I then handed out my hand, "what are you doing?" He just looked at me funny.
" I'm introducing you too Alexis Spites" I still had a big smile on my face. He looked at me pretty funny, then grabbed my hand and had a big smile on his face " haha, I feel kind of stupid now." I just chuckled,
"Don't be, your the first one here to actually know my name. Everyone has a different name for me." He just cocked his head to the side but shook it off, and then shook my hand. "Well my name is Josh, Josh Days" he still kept the smile on his face.
"It's nice to meet you, Josh Days."
"It's nice to meet you too, Alexis Spites"
