A Sirius Matter...

Tia and Remus' Little Issue

It was late November at Hogwarts and nothing much of any interest had happened at all. Matt had joined the team of 'Marauders' but wasn't in the know about Remus' furry little problem just yet.

Emily was in a dormitory with Lily, Tia and I and we all got on fantastically. Sometimes I felt like Lily had abandoned me a little bit for Tia, they were both so similar and although I knew Lily and I would always be firm friends, I had become closer with Emily over the months she'd been at Hogwarts.

Currently, it was a long weekend, lessons had been canceled on Friday and Monday for an 'inspection' so we were forced to reside in our dormitories for the weekend. We all decided to make the most of the isolation to clean out our room a bit. I had pretty much finished, having re-folded all my clothes and packing them into the draw. I sat on my bed and watched Lily and Tia have a clothes swapping party. It was an extremely girly Friday.

"Tia! You should wear this more! It looks great on you" Lily was holding a tight black dress and encouraging Tia to put it on.

"No. No I can't" she said blushing. I looked up suspiciously, narrowing my eyes, as did Emily on the next door bed.

"Go on! Show us your beautiful figure! We're bored as it is!" Lily waved the dress in front of Tia and all of a sudden she burst into tears.

I got up and put my arm around her, guiding her to sit down on the bed. Lily and Em both looked worried at the sobbing Tia who was sat weakly on my bed.

"Now... you can tell us anything" I told her, rubbing her back lightly and soothingly.

"I...I think... I might be - pregnant!" She cried, stumbling through her tears and haste to speak quickly. She was gasping for breath and her eyes were overflowing with tears.

"Oh my lord" I said closing my eyes.

"Are you sure Tia? Can't we get one of those muggle pregnancy tests things to be sure?" Lily piped in.

"Where the hell would you like me to source one of them from?" I asked Lily, exasperated as she looked hopefully at me "I don't carry them around!"

"Oh I have one of them, the pee on the stick ones... Here" Emily pulled out a packaged stick which had a picture of a heavily pregnant woman on the front, smiling happily. I stared shocked at her in bemusement that she had one of them tucked away in her bedside table but I took it anyway and handed it to Tia.

"Okay Tia. Let us know when your done" I said as she got up.

Tia disappeared into the bathroom. The whole time she was in there, I paced, tapped my feet, clapped my hands and clicked my fingers. Anxious as everyone else to find out whether our friend was going to have a baby.

Tia appeared at the door, her face red and blotchy. She looked straight at us and held up the stick.

"Pregnant" she said quietly.

Remus Point of View

I watched as Sirius, James and Matt brewed a disgusting looking potion in the middle of our dormitory. I had a book in my hand but I couldn't concentrate. I should go and see Tia in a minute, I sensed she had been a bit off lately.

Suddenly, the door burst open to reveal Sofia stood looking emotionless in the doorway.

"Hey baby..." Sirius began but she cut him off.

"Hey, not now though okay. I need to have a word with Mr. Lupin"

I got up, a little scared by her tone.
