Song Eun-Kyung-

"Can you go and give the group that just entered, a table?"

I nod and grab 7 menus as I approach the group.

"Good evening, welcome to Orelle. Will it be only you guys dining together this evening?" My customer service voice, I had rehearsed it to myself over and over again. This job was my only source of everything and I couldn't risk losing it.

"Yes, do you have a table available for now?" A man with the most perfect dimples and a sweet smile replied.

"Of course, please follow me."

Why did they look so familiar? I frowned to myself trying to recall where I might have seen them. I take them to a private booth, set their menus down and walk off leaving time for them to decide what they would like to eat.

" Eun-Kyung, I have to speak to you"

Yun Song-ah. To put it short, she is the only one I can trust in this cruel world. She is caring, understanding and selfless, so when I turned up at her place drenched in the rain, cut, scarred and bruised she looked after me. She owns Orelle and opened it up recently so she was in need of waitresses, that's where I come in, for the past two weeks I have been working my ass off and saving enough money to move out of her place. I feel too guilty about intruding her home and constantly feel like a burden so I want to move out as soon as possible.

One thing I wish I could change about Song-ah is her shocking taste in men. I am not one to talk but recently she has been dating this 'Fred' guy who lives all the way in ENGLAND. To be quite honest he isn't even good looking. He isn't worth waking up at 3am just to facetime because of the stupid time zones. But I wasn't surprised when one day she told me that Fred and her have been planning to live together but the catch is she would be the one moving and not him.For me that would mean I would have to go apartment hunting and live without the person I love to bits. For her that would mean she would have to convince her strict ass family to let her go but she would have to sell her house and pass the restaurant on to someone else, which could result in me losing my job because of some history my family has with hers.

"Eun-Kyung guess what?" Song-ah asked, her doe eyes were brimmed with tears.

"Who the hell made you cry? Point them out to me and I swear  wil-" I was panicked because she was fine just moments ago.

"-No one unnie. I just have some exciting news to tell you" her five foot self looked up at me.

"Go on" I say curious although I had a feeling I knew what she was gonna say

"You won't believe it! I just got off the phone to my older brother and he said that mum allowed  me to go to England, I'm going next week!" She was basically squealing like a mad man behind the counter but luckily she was out of earshot of the customers.

"Wow. Song-ah that's great I'm so happy for you. What will happen to the restaurant though?" I ask, nervous.

"Oh, ummm, my older brother is taking over the restaurant. I'm so sorry, I really am, I wanted this to work out for you too. What are you going to do?" I saw her face drop and a tear roll down her face. Bruh, the universe really hates me huh? Her older brother would probably want to kill me more than my ex would. There is just no way I would be able to work in his restaurant. Great, this is just great. I've lost the roof over my head and my job.

"Song-ah, don't cry, I have an aunt over in Busan who can help me out. I am so grateful to have someone like you in my life, thank you for helping me, for comforting me and supporting me. Don't ever think that I would be mad at you, look how far you have come. Go over to England, live with your Fred guy and enjoy your life. Mess around a bit and who knows in a year or so, there may be a British mini Song-ah."

" I love you, you know that right?"- Song-ah

"I love you even more Song-ah. But I swear if you forget about me because your having a lunch party of tea and scones with your British boyfriend I will personally fly my ass to England and hunt you down okay?"

"Okay, see you at home then?" she said, wiping tears off her small face.

"See you at home Song-ah, I gotta go now and serve some customers now byee."

Thank god she believed that lie, if Song-a knew my aunt in Busan was dead, she would refuse to go to England and I would feel guilty for holding her back.

But why does my table of 7 look so familiar?
