~ Y/N POV ~

It was pretty early and I was already dressed and ready for the day. I mean it was early for me. 9am was a big deal for me. Normally I'm someone who sleeps in, but today I had this certain energy that got me out of bed bright and early. I caught myself looking through the window, multiple times. To try and see if I could catch a glimpse of Jenna being awake or not. I had already put her phone number in my phone, but couldn't bring myself to actually text her. First of all, I wouldn't know what to say. Second of all, I didn't want to sound desperate. Because I'm not. I just- couldn't wait to talk to her again. Thats all. I have been sitting on my bed for almost half an hour now, staring at my phone. My fingers hovering above the keyboard. Figuring out what I should say, or if I should say anything at all. But I also didn't want her to think I don't care and that I don't want to talk to her if I decide not to send a message. I sigh softly. I'm overthinking this to much again. A text probably doesn't even anything to her. She just does it. Okay, that's it. Fuck it. I'm just going to do it. But what should I say? "Hey Jenna it's Y/N." I read out loud. I quickly delete it as I shake my head. "I sound so lame. Uh- Sup Jenna- No not a chance." I mumble to myself as I type and retype the message over and over again till I had something I was happy with. I decided to make it funny. To send something that she knows it's me.

Shit

Shit. Did she really write down a wrong number? I felt embarrassment go through my body as I stare at my phone.

I got from disappointed to confused to realizing what was going on in a time span of one minute. I took my phone and got off my bed to look outside the window. I got greeted by Jenna who was standing in the window with a smirk on her face. I shook my head slight as I chuckle to myself. She got me there. She wore a simple black tanktop, but boy did she look good in it.

I couldn't help but smile at my phone, but I forgot that I stood in the window where she could literally see me. I look up at her as she chuckles when she looks up from her phone at me. I could already tell that she had a sarcastic and dark sense of humor, which I loved. I made my way downstairs, wanting to make myself some breakfast. But my mom was already in the kitchen, baking something again. She was always up early, baking away. "Goodmorning muffin. You're up early!" My mom cheers excitingly since it never really happened that I woke up this early on a free day. On work days I had no choice, but on free days. I slept as much as I could. Which isn't great, but I was guilty of it anyways. "Yeah, I couldn't sleep anymore and I am going to work on some things with Jenna so-" I state as my moms eyes got slightly bigger. "Look at you reconnecting with an old friend. I'm so proud of you." My mom smiles as she looks at me. I shake my head slightly. "It's no big deal mom." I chuckle softly as I was looking for some food to eat. "OH! Here honey I made some fresh croissants. Take some with you for Jenna too!" She excitingly says as she had already placed a small basket in my hands with some freshly made croissants. They smelled delicious. "Thanks mom. I'll see you at Garcia's later I suppose?" I ask as I grab one of the croissants and place it between my teeth. Struggling to hold up the basket while eating it. "Yes! But first I want to finish this batch of cookies and oh! I also want to make a banana bread since we have some brown banana's left and-" My mom rambles on as she was going to be busy with baking for a while as I could hear from her.

I decided to bring my sketchbook with me to Jenna as I didn't know for what exactly she'd need me. I texted Jenna that I was standing in front of the door and within a few seconds the door opened. "I didn't know you'd bring gifts. If I knew that earlier I would have gotten you something too." Jenna smiles as she instantly notices the basket filled with croissants. "Oh my mom does this all the time, so don't worry about it. I don't even know if you like croissants." I chuckle as I looked at her. She took one out of the basket as she took a bite. "Are you kidding? Who doesn't like croissants?" She chuckles as she signs me to follow her. "My aunt just left to do some groceries so we have some time without distractions." Jenna points out as she leads me upstairs to the room she was staying in. Everything was neatly organized except for some scripts on the bed with a mostly black outfit next to it. That must have been one of the outfits for a costume fitting for Wednesday. "Before we do anything, I want to apologize for dragging you into this while your barely even know me. I promise I'm not just using you. I'm just a bit stressed about this whole Wednesday thing. Since it's such a huge expectation to live up too." Jenna explains. "I'm learning to play the cello, how to do fencing. I have to learn some German. I have to learn my lines, how to be the best Wednesday I can possibly be and it's just a lot of pressure. " She continues as she eats the croissant she held in her hands in between. I was shocked how much Jenna had to learn for a roll. "Oh don't apologize. I'm honestly very honored to be able to help you. But That does sound like a lot of pressure. I'm sorry." I reply as I put down the basket on the desk in the room. "Oh don't be sorry. I love my work. Don't get me wrong, but I'm just a perfectionist and I'm very hard on myself so I want it to be perfect. Besides, I want to do the old Wednesday justice too. Since everyone grew up to love her so much. So I have to try to keep that honor to her." Jenna explains as she looks at me with passion in her eyes. I nod. "I can understand that. I'm also very hard on myself so I get where you are coming from. Tell me how I can help. I'll do anything to help you. to make it slightly better for you." I smile. I noticed that it might sound a bit too much- but I did mean it. Hearing her talk so passionately about her work and hearing that she does SO MUCH to make it perfect for the fans was incredible to hear.

"You're way to sweet. I appreciate it so much. And I promise you I'll compensate you for your time." Jenna states thankful as she walks over to the bed to grab one of the scripts. "Compensate?" I ask her slightly confused. "Yes, I'll pay you for your time. You're helping me with my work after all." Jenna explains as she looks at me. I met her eyes as I shook my head slightly. "Oh no, no. You're not going to pay me for that. Honestly I'd be wasting my time in my room if I wasn't here. I'm really not missing out on anything. And it's honestly a pleasure to help you out with one of my favorite characters. So don't you dare pay me for anything." I state as I see Jenna smile. "Most people would do anything for a buck and you're just willingly wanting to help me for free?" She asks with a grin. I shrug with a smile. "Pretty much. Now let's get started before Garcia comes home again." I state with a chuckle as I see her nod in agreement. "You're right." She chuckles as she hands me one of the other scripts. I look down with twinkling eyes. She just trusts me with the script of one of my favorite characters. Which I was honestly so excited about. "Tell me how I can help."
