~ Y/N POV ~
After what felt like an hour of talking (but in reality it were multiple), my mom and Garcia decided to start making dinner. My mom loved to help Garcia in the kitchen, since she could learn a lot from her. They didn't tell us what they were going to be making, since it had to be a surprise. But Jenna and I already spotted some avocados and lime, so we knew it somehow involved Guacamole. So automatically I knew I'd love it. When we were talking, we talked mostly about Jenna and her projects and ambitions. Not that she chose to talk about it herself. It was more like her aunt and my mom kept asking questions and she'd answer them. What made me learn a lot about her, like that she's hardly ever afraid. People used to joke around that she had no soul since she wasn't ever flinching when someone tried to scare her or something. But every time they asked her a question, she'd ask me one back. I didn't know if she did that to not make me feel left out or if she was genuinely interested. Either way, it was sweet. I didn't like talking about myself- but coming from her, it was different. I answered her questions and she listened. Really listened.
"You got a car?" Jenna asked me when she looked at me with a smirk as she just stood up from the couch. I chuckle. I started to feel more and more at ease with her, but also the nerves I started to feel whenever she's around got worse too. Not the bad nerves, but more like flustered, starstruck almost. "Yes, I do. What are you up to?" I ask with a questioning look. "Well we need snacks and drinks for our movie night tonight right? Let's go get some. Right now. " Jenna suggested as she tossed me my hoodie. "Sure. Let's do it." I nod as I put on my sweater and felt the nerves I was talking about creep up by the thought of her sitting next to me in the car, all alone. " Mía Be back before dinner! And be careful." Garcia shouted at Jenna as I saw Jenna grin at me. As if she thought her aunt was being to over protective. "Yeah yeah Titi no problem. I got my own bodyguard over here." She replies back as she taps my shoulders. I blush slightly as I turn to the door quickly. "Let's go, before they are ready cooking." I state with a chuckle as I open the door.
Jenna follows me to the car as she looked pretty excited to go to the store. "You hungry or something? You look so stoked." I chuckle as I open the door for her. "Thank you." She smiles as she sat down. I joined her in the driver's seat as I turn to her. "I mean yes and no. It's been a while since I've been to a normal store." Jenna answered with a grin. When I really thought about it, it all made more sense. Jenna is a celebrity, I almost forgot about that. She can't do normal stuff, or she'll get swarmed by fans or paparazzi. What a life that must be. "Right. I'm stupid. I didn't even think about that. But will we be okay now? I mean, I can throw a good punch if I have too, but I rather not knock out one of your fans." I chuckle as I start the car. "Haha no you're good! I mean I guess we'll be okay? I'm not that big of a deal. Really." She chuckles. "But I'll wear a disguise just to be sure you won't have to use your karate moves. Although I'd love to see them." She jokes as she looks around my car for any disguise options. "You're crazy you know that? You want my hoodie and some sunglasses? That's all I got for you here." I state as we had almost arrived at the little supermarket close by. I chose one that wasn't too crowded most of the time so hopefully it would be okay. "Let's do that then." She chuckles as she waits for me to park the car and give her my hoodie. I pull off my hoodie, leaving me in my shirt. I felt quite flustered, seeing her small figure putting on my already oversized hoodie. She was kind of swimming in it, but it looked very adorable. "Will you be okay? It's pretty breezy outside." Jenna asks me as she looked oh so cute in my oversized black hoodie on. "I'll be okay. As long as you're safe." I smile at her. I catch her cheeks burn up slightly as she smiles at me. "Common you." She grins as she gets out the car and puts on the hood and sunglasses.
I follow her inside the store. No one really looks up so far so that was good. Jenna took some strawberries and grapes and put them in the cart I had gotten for us. After we went to get some Doritos, popcorn and candy. "Which candy would you like?" She asks as she stands on her tippy toes to see the top shelf. I had to contain myself to not squeal since she looks so fucking cute right now. "Oh do they have watermelon sour patch kids? Those are my favorites." I ask excitedly looking around. "I can't find them here." Jenna softly says as she was looking at the lower shelves. "Me neither. That's too bad, was really craving them." I pout. "I'll get whatever you want J." I smile as I didn't want to call her Jenna just in case. I could see her lips curl up slightly as she took some twizzlers. "Let's get some ice cream for you then." She grins as she walks up to the freezers. We picked out some brownie Ben&Jerry's and went up to the check out. I wanted to grab my card to pay,but before I could, she had already paid. "My treat remember?" She smiles as I couldn't really see her eyes right now, because of the sunglasses. Maybe that was a good thing, since her eyes make me feel all the feels inside. "Thank you." I smile as I get everything in the bag. "Wait is that Jenna Ortega? She sounds like her and kinda looks like her too?" I hear someone say behind us. "Jenna!" I hear someone yell as Jenna turned her head. "Shit. We gotta go. Common." She softly says as she grabs my hand and runs out of the store with me. Leading the way. We heard sudden yelling and running a bit further behind us as they figured out it was Jenna. Jenna swerved us around some allies. Being smart not to go straight to the car. "Jenna Oh my god! Jenna!" We hear someone shout behind us. Jenna quickly pulled me in a side alley, pushing me against the wall behind a huge dumpster to hide me. I stood now pressed against the wall with Jenna pressed up against me, facing me with one hand on my mouth to not make any sound. Her eyes meeting mine. I gulp as I hear people run by, not detecting us at all. This must have happened more often, since she knew exactly how to get rid of them. But the only thing I could think about was her body pressed against mine, with one hand on my waist and one on my lips. At that exact moment, I felt like time had stopped.
