I'm thankful this weekend is a long weekend so I can rest. Sarah made me comfy in my temporary room at her apartment. ''Lexie the boys are finally home''Sarah yelled. I hobbled my way out of bed and used my crutches. ''thats all you got''I laughed. It was two trashbags of clothes and some of my squishmallows. Along with a suitcase of chargers and elctronics, etc. '' you have a lot of shit lady''Jaden said. ''Yeah your lucky we even got all this to fit''joe high fived Jaden. ''well bring it to my room''I guided them. ''we got you crippled''joe joked. ''to soon''I struggled opening the door.

Joe opened it like a gentleman and I sat on the bed out of breath, crutches are tiring. ''So I'm just gonna tell you where to put things since I'm crippled''I winked at Joe. ''I'm gonna go be with my girlfriend for the rest of the night byeee''jaden said shutting the door. ''My parents are coming tomorrow''I said getting a text on my phone. ''Mine are too''Joe started putting my clothes on hangers. ''Well we should all go to dinner''I suggested. ''good idea''Joe agreed. ''Joey come here, you dont have to do that all tonght''I opened my arms laying down. ''yes maam''he jumped in bed. ''I missed holding onto you''Joe admitted. ''I missed you handsome''I said playing with his soft fluffy dirty blonde hair.

''Whats your pain on a scale of 1-10''Joe asked before he fell asleep. ''Uh about a 9''I said. ''I forget to give you something, it will help. I used it all the time when I was injured in football''joe closed his eyes. I hope it's bio freeze.

I woke up with no Joe, but whiskers ass was all up in my face. ''Girl stop''I pushed her over a bit. ''meow''whiskers rubbed up against me. I sighed and rolled over. I later felt small paws walking all over my upper body. ''Whiskers stop''I groaned. ''meowww'' I sighed and texted Sarah. ''get your damn cat now'' I grabbed whiskers and put her in Joes spot, I bet he put her in here. So when he gets in bed, he'll have cat fur all in his face.

''I will get my damn cat''Sarah came in grabbing whiskers. ''Oh Joe's coming hes getting you starbucks and the gift he said''Sarah laughed at the end of the sentence. What in the world could be this ''gift'' I asked myself. While Joe was still somewhere I rewatched dance moms and some other good shows. ''Joes here''Sarah then yelled from the living room. I groaned in pain and got my slow ass out of bed. My crutches clicked and clacked down the hall. Joe walked through the door with someone behind him. ''alright this is Lexies friends apartment shes staying at''Joe said looking behind him.

''oh this is nice''a lady said. I stood my the island trying to figure out who it is. ''Oh Lex come here to meet my mom and dad''joe said. His mom walked through the door first, then his dad. Finally Joe was in. ''Oh my, your very gorgeous''his mom said. ''thanks''my cheeks flushed. ''dont be afraid Lexie come here''his mom told me. I made my way over and his mom hugged me. ''Im Jim''Joe's dad his hand out. ''Hi Jim, I'm Lexie''I smiled. Sarah then came out of her room. ''OH ARE YOU MR AND MRS BURROW''Sarah said excitedly. ''uhh thats my friend Sarah and this is her apartment''I said. ''And thats her boyfriend Jaden''I said pointing to Jaden coming out of the bedroom. ''hello Jaden and Sarah I'm Joe's mom''she said. ''this is Joe's dad''Joe's mom pointed to Jim.

''You guys can sit down if you want''Sarah told them. ''Oh no its ok we are going to leave shortly, I just wanted to meet Lexie and see how she is''Joe's mom said. Sarah then sat on the couch and went on her phone. I sat on a stool by the kitchen island, Joe made his way to the love seat. ''Lexie I'm sorry to hear about your soccer season, if you need anything I will be here for you''Joe's mom hugged me again. ''thank you so much, also my parents are coming soon. I was wondering if we could all have dinner together at Olive garden.''I told Robin. ''that would be nice, now where are you from again''she questioned. ''Well Joe we are going to unpack in the hotel, just let us know when we, will all go to dinner.''robin hugged Joe and went out the door. I hobbled my way over to Joe. ''Oh let me get your gift''Joe hopped up and grabbed a bag that was by the door. ''close your eyessss'' he said coming over. I closed my eyes and he handed me something. ''what the fuck is this''I opened my eyes to a cow bell and bio freeze. ''its a cow bell instead of texting everyone you can just ring it and you don't have to move''Joe shrugged his shoulders. ''how thoughtful''I laughed. Jaden and Sarah were cuddling when the their was a knock on the door.

''I'll get it''I got up and crutched my way to the door. ''Hi mom, Hi dad''I backed up. My parents and I don't have a steady relationship so I can only imagine how this will go. ''nice place, this isn't yours is it.''My mom came in. ''too clean for it to be hers''my dad laughed. I rolled my eyes, I'm not that bad. ''well this is sarahs she let me crash while, this happened''I pointed to my ankle and knee. ''Sorry that happened to you, we couldn't make it to the game''my mom said.

''you guys can sit down''Sarah said. ''thank you sarah''my mom told her. My mom and dad sat on the stools by the island. ''wellll mom,dad; this is my boyfriend Joe''I hopped over to Joe. ''Ohhhh hes handsome''my mom smiled. ''thanks''joe blushed. ''nice to meet you kid''my dad walked over. ''so sarah hows josh, he was in a hurry when I talked to him to surprise Lex''my mom asked. Of course its always about my friends brother. ''uh hes good I guess''sarah cuddled into Jaden more.

''I forgot to tell you, your going to meet Joe's parents in like 30 mins''I looked to my mom and dad. ''then we should get back to the hotel and get ready, Lexie why didn't you tell us sooner''my mom got flustered. I shrugged and watched my mom get in a hurry. ''well nice seeing you sarah, bye lexie see you in a bit''my mom and dad walked out the door.

''we didn't even set a time''Joe asked. ''I wanted them to leave''I put my head on Joe's shoulder. ''She didn't even ask about me''Jaden seemed disappointed. ''she likes my brother cause he made it to the NFL and she used to babysit us. So its a big thing apparently''sarah rolled her eyes. ''My mom said shes almost ready, lets get ready too Lex''Joe said getting up. ''yeah anyways dont feel left out Jaden''I said. Joe grabbed my arm and helped me get up.

I put on mascara and like some concealer and a simple outfit. Since we probably are going to olive garden. Joe wore a dress shirt, he only wears it for game day and special occasions. ''you ready handsome''I asked him getting my crutches ready. ''yes my lady''he said opening the bedroom door. We went out and Sarah told us to bring her home some bread sticks. I laughed and said bye to her and Jaden. Then Joe got his Porsche ready. ''alright lets go to Olive garden''Joe started driving.

He got out and opened the door for me. And he got my crutches out from the back. Two ubers then dropped our parents off. "Well this should be good"i sighed. "Have a little faith"joe nudged me standing next to me at the entrance. Joes parents come out first and then mine.

My mom hugged me again. Joes mom hugged him again. "So mom this is mrs burrow"i told my mom. "Hi mrs burrow, your son is a really good guy"she said. I tried not to roll my eyes, she didnt even talk to him much. The dads just shook eachothers hands, i guess its just what men do.

We got in and got seated at a table. My mom hit it off with Joes mom, my dad is quiet so he didnt have much to say to joes dad. "This is going good, almost to good"i whispered to Joe. He put his hand on my thigh and talked to his mom. "So Joes a star athlete"my dad finally talked. "He gets it from me"his dad said. I laughed a bit and the waiter gave us breadsticks.

We got our drinks and ordered, i got chicken Alfredo, and the moms did too. The dads had chicken Parmesan, joe had lasagna. "So Lexie, how is your knee and ankle"joes mom asked. "Well i have to have surgery in 3-6 weeks and my ankle is broke but it should heal without surgery"i said.

Our food came before my mom could say something snarky. We ate and everyone split the bill. I made sure to grab breaksticks for sarah, we walked out and my dad gave me a hug. "I love you Lexie"he said. Then my mom did the same. "Ill be over, we can get to know eachother more"joes mom came over and hugged me. "Thanks"i whispered.

Their ubers came and Joe opened the door for me to get into his car. "Wasnt that bad"joe said. "Yeah, but I love your mom"i told him. "I figured that"joe laughed.
