My surgery is next week, Sarahs going to LA to meet Jadens parents. Homecomings tonight, and Joe is going to Georgia for a game next Saturday; hopefully I can go but my brain is in shambles currently. ''hey sarah does your dress still fit''I walked down the hall from my room. ''I dont look like a balloon yet''she rolled her eyes. ''but my girlies fit more snug''she pushed up the top of her dress. ''can you do my hair in like 2hrs, I was thinking of you curling it and maybe adding a few extensions''I asked. ''yeah sure''she agreed. ''atleast nobody will see your brace''she pointed to my orange sparkly dress that has a cut off by the knee. ''oh yeah because I'm totally faking it''I sarcastically said.

Joe and Jaden finally came home from getting their suits because they got them tailored. ''alright since you girls said we cant see your dresses, you cant see out suits''Joe announced. Sarah and I have changed into some lounge wear. ''youll literally see them in like an hour''Sarah said. ''oh shit its already 3''Joe questioned. ''I gotta get ready for my game''he ran to our bedroom. ''I forgot he played tonight''I blushed in embarrassment. ''LEXIE COME HERE''Joe called. I got up and see what he was doing. ''what''I opened the door. ''I dont have my gloves''he said. ''and''I asked. ''I want my gloves, I wanna wear my left glove since its going to be against Texas and theyre good''Joe looked everywhere. ''I'm sorry, is there anything you can do''I crossed my arms. ''I guess putting my sock inside out will have to work''he said sucking on his caramel apple sucker.

''ok well, I'm going to be late to practice so I love you and I might see you before the game and I might not since coach wants us to win''Joe kissed my head and grabbed his suit to change into after the homecoming game. ''I love you Joe, win it for me''I hugged him. ''you bet I will, I'll be waiting for my dance afterwards''we walked out to the living room and he went out the door to his Porsche. ''what was all that about''Jaden cuddled Sarah. ''superstitions''I laughed.

''alright lets get ready''Sarah motioned me to her room. ''Jadens gonna love your dress''I said. ''I bet Joe will love yours''sarah replied. We put our dresses on, did makeup to match them and put in extensions for pictures. ''I'm so excited''I said. ''oh trust me, me too''sarah said finishing up my hair. She then held her abdomen,''are you alright''I questioned. ''oh yeah, I dont know its just cramps I'm fine''she said. Then we walked out and Sarah did a little model walk for Jaden. ''holy, you look hot like really amazing''he said. I laughed at them being cute, then shoved Jaden to get ready so I can hopefully see Joey before the game. ''I cant believe you forgot Joe had a game today''Sarah laughed. ''hey I'm stressed for my surgery''I threw my hands in defeat.

''Welp here I am''Jaden walked out in a red suit with a black tie. He looked good in it, now I cant wait to see Joe in a suit. ''you look sexy''Sarah walked over to Jaden. ''hey now, thats what got THAT there in the first place''he pointed to Sarahs stomach. Sarah and I died laughing because Jaden called the baby 'That'. Once we got everything together Jaden drove to the stadium. ''you know Jaden your getting good at driving in Baton Rouge, maybe you should stay here instead of making music in LA''I said staring out the window in the back seat. ''No Lexie, my passion is music''Jadens voice filled with annoyance. ''im just saying''I said.

We made it to the stadium with 30minutes to spare. I looked for Joe but couldnt see him until, ''LEXIE''I heard my name called. ''JOEY''I limped to him trying not to hurt my knee. ''you look drop dead gorgeous''he said checking me out. ''and you look handsome in your white uniform''I hugged him. He had his cleats on and towered over me. ''I gotta get going but, I'll see you after and we'll for sure get homecoming king and queen''Joe told me before hugged me again. ''I love you number 9''I said. Joe blew a kiss back still having a grin on his face running to the field.

''You guys are stupidy cute''Sarah said as I went to my seat. ''yeah its gross''Jaden gagged. I rolled my eyes and looked for Joe on the sidelines, for him to run out. The game then finally started and Joe ran out on the field, his sparkly blue eyes shone through his helmet and his face was lit in awe, when everyone cheered. ''look at himmm''I nudged sarah. ''yes I know your madly in love with the way he stares into the crowd of fan girls''she joked. ''Well hes mine so they can get their own Joey B''I said with a bit of jealousy.

It was now the ending of the 4th quarter, LSU up by 3 points. Joe walked back on the field after a time out. His walk had stride and I was so ready for him to win. The ball snapped, he caught it, threw it, but looked the other way and another player collided with him. ''NO''i gasped loudly. Everyone looked at me but I looked at Joe on the ground. He was on his hands and knees. ''IS HE OK''I shook sarah. ''girl hes getting up, look''she said uncovering my eyes. ''oh''I said. Joe got back up and shook it off. The pass was incomplete anyways. So Joe tried again and TOUCHDOWN. The timer had 15secs left, so they let the clock run out.

I ran down from the seats and tried to get close to Joe before the news reporters did. ''JOE YOU SCARED ME''I yelled from the front row. ''haha, I got the wind knocked out of didnt I''Joe came over. ''I'll try to get changed quick and we can head to the dance''Joe touched my hand while cameras flashed all around us. ''alright, I love you''I said before going to find Jaden and Sarah. Joe got interrupted but tried to answer questions fast. ''alright whos ready to partyyy''Jaden came over to me. Sarah making her way down. ''Jaden dude, its not a party''Sarah punched him playfully.

We left the stadium and headed to the dance. I got out and left to find Joe, leaving Sarah and Jaden again. ''Well how do I look''i heard a voice behind me say. Joe was in a black suit with an orange bowtie, matching my dress. ''You freshen up good big boy''I intertwined my arm in his. ''Lexie, for the love of God stop leaving us''Sarah caught up with Joe and I. Jaden took Sarahs arm and we went inside.

Joe and i arent much dancers but we did slow dance to one of my favorite country songs. ''Oh baby I'm gonna love you forever, and ever amen''I mouthed to Joe. He was clueless of the song but still held my waist dancing with me. Jaden and Sarah then danced with us when Party in the U.S.A came on. I mean who wouldnt. THEN Shania twains 'Man! I feel like a woman!' came on and everyone was ecstatic.

The night was finally slowing down and they were going to annouce homecoming king and queen. I sat down next to Joe hoping they call our names. I wanted that silver tiara and I wanted to see Joe in a crown. ''this years homecoming king and queen isss''the announcer spoke. ''Lexie Greenwood and Joe burrow''she said. I walked with Joe up to the podium and bowed. The lady put on my tiara and Joes crown. Everyone clapped and then it was definitely a night to remember. Considering last year and the years before I had no boyfriend to go to homecoming with but this year I had the best one.

Authors note: theres a lot of foreshadowing in this chapter, also theres going to be a TW just because it kinda has brief talking about something that happens in life. But yeah also I'm sorry if it seems like I'm skipping through the book its just I dont want it to drag out, lmao.
