I initially thought that this choice was going to be just as hard as the last one but turns out it is not. I am definitely going to school, I finally felt just a little bit more normal, and I can just watch out, like I already do when I was stealing food. The principal also told me that I get free food in the cafeteria, so I don’t even have to worry about that anymore! This doesn’t even feel like a choice, it’s basically a pre-made decision.
That night was the first night in quite some time I actually slept a full nine hours. I was dreaming about school when my alarm waked me up to go to school. I was finally feeling happy. When I walked to school, I saw a twenty-dollar bill lying on the ground, what a lovely coincidence so I bought some headphones from the money, and I listened to some fun music on my way to school.
When I arrived at school, I felt like I was dreaming! My first class was math, and all went well, my math teacher introduced me to the class, and I have the feeling they like me, but then it was time for science already, the subject I dreaded the most, because it feels like the lab. Then my worst nightmare came true, the teacher was someone from the lab! And none of my classmates were there! Was this all a trap? In the span of two seconds, I was injected with a syringe, and I felt myself becoming unconscious. Not again!
