I sat down, having to spend all my energy to not having a panic attack. It wasn’t as bad as I thought though. He said: ‘Why is it that every time you see me you have a seizure, that doesn’t feel like you enjoy being in my presence much does it, after all im just the CEO?’ I felt myself unconsciously and uncomfortably biting my nails and playing with my hair. I answered: ‘I’m so sorry, I can’t control my seizures,’ He then told me that we were going to start the experiments next week. It comforted me knowing that we weren’t immediately going to start the experiments, but this also told me that he was planning on experimenting with me again.
I felt myself becoming more and more sweaty, so I ran out of his fancy office after only a minute long conversation. I went to the busy cafeteria with Inazuma to just talk over things. The cafeteria was just like a school cafeteria with 4 red chairs at every shining white table. She proceeded to tell me about her experience with the lab. It was weirdly positive.
Her not knowing I was the one that escaped those eight years ago told me all about the girl who ran way. I was called crazy by everyone back then; I presumably ran away from a quite non-threatening situation. All I remember from that time were the needles, handcuffs and just an overall lack of social contact. But now everything is different. Inazuma claims nothing has changed at all, but that could never be true right?
