The next day I was trembling as if it was freezing, and I had just been swimming in a cold lake. I knocked on the door of Inazuma’s room. Already scared of her reaction to the news. I hear her voice faintly saying: ‘Come in!’ I walked in, she was still in her pyjamas I felt a wave of comfort coming towards me. I sat down on her bed and told her the truth about who I am. She rightfully so looked shocked at first and wanted nothing to do with me. But then I started explaining more about the hallucinations and about me going completely crazy she understood me more.
She gave me a comforting hug and stroked my hair a bit. I felt a strange feeling running through me. My heartbeat went up, but not because I was scared, it was quite the opposite actually. It calmed me. My stomach filled with jumpy feelings almost like butterflies. It was a feeling I never felt before. It brought a smile to my face, and I didn’t want to stop hugging her, but to not make it weird I did anyways. We made eye contact for a quick second, but then the wake-up alarm sounded through the whole facility, and we went to the cafeteria.
This week I spent most of the time in the free run room sometimes with and sometimes without Inazuma, because she still had experiments during parts of the day. My experiments came closer, but strangely instead of feeling more nervous I actually felt less nervous. More exited, I think?
