ADRIANS PERSPECTIVE

Yes. Yes I am. I am so fucking prepared to fall in love with her. I don't know what she's doing to me, but there's something, something inside off me tells me that she's the one. Her green shiny eyes, beautiful smile with perfect teeth, how her hair falls perfectly on her shoulders. Every fucking thing about her is precious.

The school bell started ringing and my thoughts came back to reality.

- So, what's the price?

My mind was still somewhere else and I didn't even notice her saying anything.

- Earth to Adrian?

She said and waved her hand in front off my face. I shook my head and made eye contact with her.

- Huh?

- I asked you, what's the price?

- For?

- Me winning?

- Oh, nothing?

I left in a hurry without saying anything else. I don't know why I always have to be like this. Love makes me crazy and angry and happy and confused all in same, I don't know how to handle it. Falling in love is not my kind off thing and it never will be.

Later that day..

- I swear to god, I literally asked her like one time !

We all laughed at him.

- Lucas, seriously now? How many times did you ask?

I said and bursted out in laugh for the hundredth time. He shook his head and took some fries in his hand before throwing them at me.

- Asshole

He said and laughed. We packed all our things before going towards the car.

- Are we going to the gym before school tomorrow? I asked as I closed the car door and turned the engine on.

- Sure, if Noah can wake up

- Waaait a minute, I woke up last time?

- Yeah, cause we called you about a million times

- Whatever, call me again tomorrow then

After a few minutes of driving I left Lucas at his place and later on Noah at his before driving home. I listened to music but somehow, tulip still managed to get into my thoughts and I don't know why, but I got a bad feeling in my stomach as I thought about her.

I tried to deny it, and then I saw her. She was walking slowly with her head faced down, she had a white tank top and grey sweatpants. What was she doing? It was raining and freezing cold outside. I didn't hesitate and stopped my car immediately. I reached for my hoodie in the backseat before opening my car door.

It was pouring down so I started to ran a bit to get closer to her.

- Tulip!

I screamed a little and touched her arm. She turned around fast and I noticed that she got scared.

- I didn't mean to scare you

I said. I looked her deep into her eyes. She was crying so heavy, her eyes were swollen red, she was shaking and super wet. I directly took my hoodie and put it on her. We made eye contact and I could tell that she was scared and sad. I reached my arms around her and took her in for a big hug. She started to cry again. I hugged her so hard and could hear her crying at my chest and having a hard time to catch her breath.

I didn't know what to do. But I knew for sure I couldn't leave her. I took her hand and led her to my car and passenger seat. She jumped in and I put a blanket on her before putting the seatbelt on her and closing the door. There was only one thing I could do.

It was late and the rain made big noises when it touched the windows.

I looked at her while she laid there, in my bed, in my house. I covered her up with my quilt and she fell asleep directly. I couldn't keep my eyes off of her, she's so beautiful.

I was just about to walk out the room when I heard her voice.

- Where are you going?

She asked.

- I'm sleeping in the guest room.

- No please, sleep in here with me, I don't want to be alone

I stopped and thought about it for a second. My brain was telling me no but my heart knew I had to listen to her. Obviously something bad has happened and the only thing I can do is listen to her. I nodded and walked in, closing the door and heading towards the bed before laying down.

My room was dark and quiet. The only thing I heard was tulips cute small breaths as she's on her way to fall asleep. I turned on my back and stared up the ceiling for a while, thinking, what could possibly had happened to her? who would ever want to hurt such a wonderful and nice girl. My thoughts got disrupted as I heard her saying something.

- Hold me

Her voice was calm and fragile. I didn't know what to answer and kept being quiet and waited for her to say something else.

- Please

I took a deep breath as I turned to her. Her back was against me and her head still in the opposite direction.

She reached her hand back to me as a sign for me to hold it. I carefully placed my hand in hers, god she was so cold. I got closer and closer to her, so close that I could feel my nose to her back as she was only wearing a tank top. I placed my arm around her waist and my hand still holding hers on her stomach.

Her hair smelled so good, her back was warm but her hand was cold and still freezing. I didn't know how long it took, but I knew for sure it didn't take long for me to fall asleep like that. Beside her.
