I watched myself in my mirror, getting ready for dinner. Adrian was suppose to pick me up at 7.30 pm and it's currently 7.23. I heard the front door open and realized I haven't told my parent i'm going away. I sat down waiting for my door to open, but it didn't. Dad usually always come in to my room. That's when I heard a big shatter, glass breaking. He was mad, and I didn't have time for this, not tonight. I sat patiently, waiting on my bed for the clock to turn 7.30. I could hear footsteps outside, but it sounded like a lot off footsteps, not coming from one person. What was going on? I wanted to go out to see but I didn't dare to, If dad would see me in this dress he would get mad, asking me where I got it from, and what was I suppose to say then?

7.28. I guess I could go out now. I walked carefully over to my door and opened it, only to see blood on the floor. I stopped and didn't want to move. I heard a male voice.

- It's not here, we've been looking everywhere

- He should be thankful he isn't here, I would have killed him

- Let's go and come back tomorrow

I heard the front door close and my breath could finally leave my lungs. What the heck was that? And who were those people? I didn't have time to think about that right now so I just made my way out and saw Adrian's car. I could see through the window how he smiled at me. I was getting closer to the car and noticed him opening his car door and walking fast to my door, he opened it and looked at me.

He was so handsome, he wore a black suit with a matching black tie and a white shirt underneath. I looked at his suit pocket and noticed a white tulip, white to match my dress.

- The dress was totally worth it

He said and gave me a look up and down.

I smiled and before thinking, I kissed him on his cheek before getting in to the car. He closed the door and walked back to the drivers seat.

- Are you excited?

- I am a bit scared

- Don't worry, I'm sure they will love you

I smiled at him and he drove off. We listened to music and I just admired the view and sunset outside. I could feel his hand on my tight and looked at him, he just smiled at me with his beautiful smile. The ride was long and took about 40 minutes. We arrived in front off a big gate. Adrian rolled his window down and the guard gave him a look before opening the gate. He started to drive and we came upon a hill, in front of us there was a big white house surrounded by cars, expensive ones.

Adrian parked his car, closed his door and walked over to my door before opening it up.

- Here we are, you ready?

- Yes, I'll have to be

He smiled and took my hand before walking me up to the house. When we walked in, I was so shocked. It was crowded with people and waiters walking around with appetizers and champagne.

- You want a glass? He asked

- No, thank you

He nodded and took one glass for himself.

- Aren't you driving? I asked him

- No, Lucas is picking us up

He took my hand once again and led me through the crowd until we came to the living room. He touched a women on her shoulder and she turned around, that's when I realized...

- Adrian darling, hello

She hugged him before turning her face towards me.

- Amara? It's lovely to see you
