He checks his watch again and notices that P'Waan is still not back. He takes out his phone to call him when he enters the room. He sees the look on his face and immediately goes alert. "What happened?"

He sees his boyfriend and just breaks into emotions. For some reason listening to the kid affected him more than he expected. He walks towards Tul and sits in front of him, putting his head in his lap, needing the comfort only he can provide. He takes in a breath and looks up at his boyfriend, "I need to tell you a story, will you listen?"

Tul bends his neck and kisses his lips softly, "Always P'Waan."

He nods and starts telling him the story of the boy, he allows himself to feel everything he did in that moment, knowing here in Tul's arms he can be completely open, not needing to be the big brother for anyone. He can unpack all his emotions and feelings that he couldn't do in front of Team or Rider. He hears Tul sniff, he wakes up and goes to sit next to him, just putting his arms around him and sitting in silence, both of them going through everything they are thinking and feeling before they express it. This is what he loves about Tul, he doesn't feel any pressure to explain or talk.

"Tell me what you are really thinking P. I know this is a sad story and I feel for him too but I can see something deeper troubling you. It's okay if you are not ready, just know I'm here." He knows him better than anyone. He can even tell by the tone in his voice that there is something else going on.

He sighs, running his hands through his hair. "When we were younger we didn't have any of what we do now. We had one hotel, living paycheck to paycheck, just like the kid. When I look at this kid, I see my brothers. When we didn't have much there would be people who would look at us differently, judging us because we were less than. I just wonder if that's why my dad went crazy expanding the way he did, if that's why he became cold and insisted on always making more, I wonder if he had the same thought as this woman. In a twist of fate, that could have been my family. I never understood my dad, we were happy but he needed more, always wanting more. It got to a point where we all grew apart, honestly if it wasn't for Win, we wouldn't have even been speaking to each other. I always judged him though, accusing him of being greedy and never having enough but after today, I understand." He held Tul tighter, "I always went on about how he wronged me, but never thought about how I wronged him. How do I even look at him now? How do I even ask him to forgive me?"

Tul nods, "He knows. Your dad knows. The thing about parents, as much as we hurt them, they don't give up on us, the same way he hasn't given up on you. The both of you made up, do you think he is sitting at home thinking about how you wronged him? No, he's sitting at home thinking about how he got his son back. When you hurt yourself it scared him, anyone looking could see how he blamed himself for you ending up in hospital. A person who feels that way towards you wouldn't feel that guilt. All you can do now is apologize and be a good son to him, love him, honor him, take care of him so you can make up for everything you think you did wrong." He grabs his face and kisses his forehead.

He nods, feeling some of his tension release, "We're going to my house tomorrow for dinner, would you like to come?"

"Really? Yes."

"I need to ask you a favor?" Waan looks at him seriously.

"Yeah?"

"I need you to check up on the kid for me, make sure he is doing what he is supposed to do. Please?"

Tul thinks for a minute, "You want me to parent him? Me? Are you sure?" Surely he knows better than to ask him to be responsible for someone else, he can't even be responsible for himself.

"I'm not asking you to parent him, he already has that. I'm just asking you to make sure that he is okay and following up with all the things he said he would, be there for him and help him out when he needs things." He walks over to him, "You may think you are not capable but trust me, you are more than you give yourself credit for."

They all sit down for dinner. Finally silence, Tul, Team and Wiew in one room, the worst idea. He looks at the people around him and smiles to himself. He catches Win watching him and he nods his head at the kid, knowing the both of them are feeling exactly the same thing, grateful and blessed. He didn't get the chance to speak to his father, putting it off for now, just wanting to enjoy the time they all have together. He is startled when Tul suddenly stands up.

"Hey." He stands up still holding his phone. He turns and looks at P'Waan. "Have you seen the price of university textbooks?"

"Do you need textbooks?" Waan is confused. What is he talking about?

"No, I'm all sorted. I'm looking at books for the kid. You did say that I should look out for him. P'Waan this is insane. I'm sorry, you can grow the kid up on your own. No way, I didn't even finish university and already I will be in debt. No." He tilts his head still not believing what he is seeing.

Waan almost chokes, "Tul, I never asked you to raise any child." He turns and sees everyone avoiding his gaze. He hears Win make a sound like he is being strangled. Immediately he understands. "Tul, I told you he has parents, I never asked you to raise him. He is already grown." He glares at the boy dumb-founded. "All I said was watch him for me." He turns to his father, "I never asked him to parent the kid." He sees his father nod his head trying to not laugh. He wakes up and grabs Tul by his ear, "Seriously?" He pulls him towards the kitchen but not before he hears all of them laugh.

"This is mad, you are on your own. I'm not raising the brat with you."

He hears them laugh again, feeling embarrassed. He feels his ears get heated. When did his life turn into a comedy show?
