Chapter 5- A Devious Ball

We arrived in due time at the Trancy Estate, but i was scared to go back there. I was captured and held prisoner there by Claude. I overheard Finny singing about the ball. All four servants of Ciel's were coming this time and smiled gently. Ciel was taking this chance to investigate Alois Trancy considering his name came up in a letter from the queen during the arson case a few weeks ago.

I looked at my brother, i fear not speak in Ciel's presence but the fear in my eyes made Sebastian nod and give my hand a small squeeze. When we got to the Estate, me, Ciel and Sebastian got out while the three servants went to go park the carriage. Claude opened the door  as Sebastian was about to knock "welcome  Right Honorable Earl Ciel Phantomhive, I am Claude Faustus, the head butler of this estate" He invited us in when Sebastian looked up as well as Ciel they were looking at the spider and its web "the Trancy coat of arms has a spider on it so out of respect we preserve their lives" Claude explained "funny thing though, the more you try to kill a spider the tighter they will cling" Sebastian mused while looking right at Claude. "Do come in" Claude bowed but as i was in the back he lifted his head while my brother's back was turned and grinned at me, in return i glared daggers at him.

"You will have to excuse my master, he is away on business but will return before this evenings ball, i have laid out tea and refreshments in the drawing room, everyone else has arrived" Claude informed us "everyone?" Ciel asked. We went to the drawing room and immediately Ciel was hug attacked by Lizzy "oh Ciel!" i winced at the shrill voice "Elizabeth!" Ciel exclaimed "Ciel, its Lizzy" she looked at him, Lau and Ran-Mao was also here as well as Lizzy's maid.

"If your here Lau then i wonder where she could be" Ciel wondered "who Ciel?" i asked him "Madame Red, this costume ball is the sort of thing she likes" immediately everyone grew quiet, poor Ciel, he doesn't remember that Madame Red was killed by Grell "funny you should mention that" Lau started by Lizzy distracted him by waving her arms around "Lady Elizabeth do calm yourself" Sebastian requested "CIEL!" I recognized THAT voice, it was prince Soma, he came in and hugged Ciel while he was crying "it is so good to see you Ciel" amazing he could speak clearly while sobbing "who are you?!? get off of me!" i had to grin at Ciel's reaction

I happened to look at Lizzy who was whispering to Sebastian "fear not, Prince Soma has a very capable butler" he assured her, in came Agni who tried to take Soma away from Ciel, the prince flailed his arms "no don't take me away from Ciel!" Soma cried and i just rolled my eyes "who is that?" Ciel demanded, i saw the quiet exchange between Agni and Sebastian "forgive me, allow me to introduce my master the 26th child of the king of Bengal this is Prince Soma Asman Kadar" while they were talking i decided to leave the drawing room with a small grin

I opened the bedroom door marked with my name to see a blue silk dress laid out for me, Claude appeared sitting in a chair, his leg crossed "i thought it would be best if you dressed in this costume tonight" i was disgusted "i brought my own costume, besides from the looks of things you want me to dress up as a peacock" i growled out, he walked out of the room after hearing his master call his name. The costume i had brought with me was a costume i had seen on my mother one time. It was a white satin gown that had detached sleeves. The necklace was a diamond choker, diamond drop earrings and the final touches were angel wings and a crystal tiara. Also there was a silver mask to go with it. The party was starting and i was scared of going down there, i was all dressed up in my costume, i had arranged my hair to a bun. From what i could see from above, Ciel dressed up as a pirate captain while Lizzy was dressed up as a native princess, Paula Lizzy's maid was Cleopatra, Soma was dressed up as Sherlock Holmes while the three servants dressed up as the three creatures from the Journey to the West, then there was Lau dressed up as some kind of Japanese lord with Ran Mao as well from the looks of her costume it was a concubine thats what i assumed.

When i waked down they all gasped then they all smiled gently "love your costume Selcura!" Lizzy exclaimed but i looked and my brother was nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile, Bard, Finny and Mey-rin decided to help the triplets but ended up making a mess of things. A noticed a maid that looked alot like Alois spill a drink on Ciel's costume then take him out of the room.

I stood next to Lizzy, Finny, Mey-Rin, Soma as well and Lau and Ran Mao when Agni dressed up at Watson served curry bread. I decided  to go find Ciel as he was gone a long time. I ran into him "Selcura?" i looked at him as he was struggling with memories that were clearly coming to him, he ran off and i ran after him. We ended up outside where we met Alois who was dressed up as the maid, we were joined by Claude and the triplets "so you wanted me to chase you so you can talk, you shouldn't underestimate me" Ciel grinned wickedly "my master is right, Claude i did give you a warning earlier" Claude and Sebastian both looked at me Claude with lust and my brother with amazment i was still dressed in my costume "and what warning did you give him?" i looked at Sebastian "merely that he can never have my young master and to stay away from you dear sister"  

"Ciel, if you dont admit you belong to me everyone in my manor will die, ive arranged a special performance and if it does they will die" Alois told Ciel and i looked over at the mansion with worry. In the end the two young lords where ordering the two demon butlers at the same time. "Seb" he silenced me with a look "yes your highness" Was Claude's reply to Alois's order while "yes my lord" was Sebastian's
