Chapter 10- Clouded Hearts

Ayden's POV ((remember, he's the demon that Selcura fell in love with before being brainwashed by Claude))

I awaited by the dead oak tree around the same time every day to see Selcura. Tonight, i would pledge my undying love and a promise ring assuring her that soon very soon, i'll be replacing it with an engagment ring "where are you my beloved?" i asked into the air.

I then felt that something wasn't right. She would have been here by now. I went to the one person who might possibly kill me but i needed to know. I found Sebastian near the Trancy Estate just staring at the mansion itself. Was Selcura in there? i was afraid to ask "excuse me, your Selcura's brother right?" i asked timidly 

"yes, why is she any of your concern though" he glared at me "well i'm Ayden Delcour, and please don't kill me! buuut i'm seeing your sister?" i said that last part quietly "excuse me but what did you say?" i said it again even quieter "still didn't hear you boy" Sebastian growled out, when i was younger i admired him and wanted to be his student but now he scared the daylights out of me. I happened to look at his face, his eyes were glowing, his black aura was showing and i was talking at a bad time.

"isaidimseeingyoursister!" i said in a big nervous rush. Sebastian looked at me with shock then anger and started to advance on me "don't hurt me!" i pleaded, he wielded his knives and i quickly donned my wolf dagger "who gave you or the whole world permission to claim my sister as their own!" Sebastian yelled as i blocked his strike. "Please let me explain!" i blocked his attack every strike he took but i started to fight back causing a scratch in his suit didn't pierce skin to my relief.

Sebastian took off the tail coat then thew it at me. That distraction gave him the opportunity to give me few deep cuts on my arm, chest and leg. I doubled over in pain falling to the ground "any last words Ayden?" Sebastian pointed his knife at me that was now full of blood "Sir, Selcura is a dear thing to me, i wouldn't ever hurt her! i'm here to ask you what happened! please don't kill me!" i sobbed tears falling down my cheeks. Yes i'm pathetic but i want to live! I stared at Sebastian who threw his knife down into the ground 

"Selcura is in there alright as well as my Young master" he told me looking down to the ground. My wounds healed quickly enough, if he would have continued i would be dead now. Its true the demon sword can kill demons but demons like me and Selcura can be killed easily with any weapon. I stared at the Mansion tears glistening "what can we do?" i asked him "nothing, i'm ordered to stay out of my master's sight" Sebastian walked away after retrieving  his knife.

I saw Selcura pass by a window of the manor and i took a step towards the mansion only to be stopped by Sebastian "it wouldn't do any good" i sighed in frustration. I watched as another demon came outside talking to birds "Sebastian? who is he?" i was curious about him but i peeked at Selcura's brother and immediately regretting speaking. "That is a spider who is about to be exterminated very soon" i heard Sebastian say. A breeze started to blow and from the "spider" came Selcura's scent! I growled, he touched my beloved! "whats his name i'll kill him!" i exclaimed "and you will die in the process but his name is Claude Faustus he's the reason Selcura and My young master are against me i don't know what he said to her but i got a good idea what he said to my lord" Sebastian explained.

Claude went inside and i noticed Sebastian's aura had become black with anger which i immediately hid behind a tree. I looked to the side and there was a red haired reaper taking pictures of Sebastian. The reaper had a red ladie's coat with a black bow on it, red eye glasses with small skulls on the chains, red shoes and wore gentlemanly clothing. His teeth sharp, his eyes yellow green "who are you?" i asked, the reaper looked at me "i should be asking you the same question" i shuddered at his high pitched voice "I'm Ayden Delcour, currently beloved to Selcura" i winced and looked at Sebastian who glared at me. "My name is Grell Sutcliff deadly efficent Reaper!" he made a hand gesture. Sebastian was so angry he lifted a statue up and brought it down on Grell.

We went to a clearing where Sebastian served tea to Grell. Apparently it was a milk tea with rock salt doubled,doubled and doubled again. Poor Grell, that would hurt on his swollen cheek. I stared at the mansion helplessly as Grell fell from the pain of the salt in the tea. I listened as they explained that Alois, the boy Selcura had spoken of so fondly was killed by Claude, did a soul fusing ceremony on the boy called Ciel, and now Claude had Ciel and Selcura. Sebastian didn't even know why she hated him so.

I saw one of the windows open "Ciel Phantomhive is a rare soul, a fine rare soul! And Selcura will be a wonderful bride!" Claude yelled out, that hit me like a ton of bricks. Selcura was going to marry him! i looked at Sebastian and me and Grell were panicking about Sebastian's blackened aura "come Grell and Ayden" the angered demon ordered coldly "i'd love to Bassy but" Grell started "maybe i should stay here" i made a weak excuse. Sebastian jumped into the air while Grell tried to take a picture "Grell i'll have you know i plan to strike 8 additional attractive poses today and Ayden if you come with me you'll save my sister from a fate worse then death" In the end we both agreed.

We ended up in ruins that resembled a once upon a time village. "Well hello there, do you gents fancy a taste i jest of course i don't have it in me anymore" we saw a former prostitute. She told us the history of the village but after her story was done, she was slain killed by three triplets with dark purple hair and red eyes. I stood beside Grell as Sebastian was fighting, the reaper took pictures. Sebsastian then tied the triplets up in a tree "Grell your death scythe" Sebastian ordered "i'm sure you can finish the job Bassy" "please just do it Grell" again Grell refused to help out, what a lazy reaper.  Sebastian then did a seductive pose which made Grell change his mind and with his chainsaw like death scythe he killed the triplets.

Their "Cinematic Records" as i was taught showed the boy Ciel showing kindness to a white haired demoness who was dressed as a maid with Selcura beside him "Selcura" i whispered

((Back to Selcura's POV))

I stayed in the garden after Hannah and Ciel left, it was getting dark. I knew the triplets would be back any second from wherever they went. I heard movement in the bushes "who's there?" i demanded when i saw a familar red haired demon step out "Ayden?" i asked unimpressed "Selcura, listen to me" i started to walk away when he grabbed me and pulled me inside the small forest around the Trancy Estate "let me go Ayden" i mumbled his hand against my lips. Ayden then pushed me to a tree, we stared into each others eyes for a while. His was full of love i didn't understand that while mine I'm sure were full of hate and anger, i could feel my eyes glowing as well.

Then Ayden did something i didn't expect him to do, he placed his lips on mine in a hard kiss. I was surprised and i found myself kissing him back wrapping my arms around his neck. Ayden, this was Ayden the demon i planned to marry one day. My eyes slowly turned to normal as i felt it before i pulled away "Ayden, oh thank you!" i hugged him tears falling from my eyes "its alright my love" i stared and him and kissed him once more "Claude, he told me things, told me horrible things my brother did i remember hating my brother" i sobbed out while i was crying on Ayden's shoulder "You have to act like nothings changed i'm afraid, much to my dismay oh and the triplets are dead" i widened my eyes, they were dead? i couldn't believe it now it was only Claude and Hannah.

I heard Ciel screaming in terror, why didn't i feel worried? We were joined up by Sebastian, i hugged my brother tightly "i'm so sorry, Claude manipulated me" he smiled gently and kissed my forehead "it wasn't your fault sister" Me and Ayden hid behind a wall that overlooked the main doors of the manor while Sebastian hid himself. Claude came out with a lit candelabra "what a surprise, i thought you were spying from a distance but here you are at the front entrance" Claude smiled. Sebastian threw the rose on his jacket at Claude who looked shocked.

Then my brother punched Claude in the stomach crushing the rose. Their contract was broken "hear me now Sebastian come Hell or high water i will devour Ciel's soul and marry Selcura she will be the perfect bride, the council matched us up" i gasped i knew the council only did what benefited them in the end that ball in Houndsworth proved their intentions.

Me and Ayden stayed hidden while Claude and Sebastian started to fight with cutlery "SEBASTIAN!" we all looked to see Ciel climbing a thorn covered clock tower surrounded by a maze. Sebastian hid himself knowing his master's orders "you've been seen Sebastian Michaelis, your a disgrace" Claude taunted.

"SEBASTIAN HELP ME! OR ELSE I'LL CLIMB ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP!" Ciel cried, that was no longer Ciel, that was Alois! Alois/Ciel climbed to the top of the tower and threatened to throw himself off while me, Ayden, Claude and Sebastian stared from the young earl at the top to Hannah who became suddenly smug. What was going to happen now?
