Chapter 2- A day on the River

I sat beside Lizzy in a boat while Ciel was sleeping, Sebastian was rowing of course. Ciel woke up and looked at both of us and we smiled gently. I brushed out my light baby pink dress "Hello Ciel" i greeted the young earl as  Mey Rin, Finny and Bard floated beside us waving and smiling in delight.

Apparently we were going to where a new flood gate was built. While Ciel was mingling i went with Lizzy but of course her absence from Ciel was short lived as we ran towards him "Ciel, look here" she pushed the newspaper in Ciel's face "whatever it is i can't see it from here" i snickered "its a deer Ciel" Lizzy informed him showing him a picture of a white stag on the front page "a deer?" Ciel asked and i could tell he was imagining the time Sebastian became Deer-man i never made my brother forget that

"yes legend has it the white stag is a messenger of the underworld and those to recieve his message is blessed with fortune and happiness" Sebastian told us "exactly you know everything Sebastian" Lizzy beamed it ended up we were gonna go look for the white stag but downriver the servants messed up Bard caught a swan claiming it to be the white stag Mey Rin brought white rabbits and Finny well he was holding a white horse above his head "guys, you messed up" i mused while nearby Lau was making bets on whether or not Ciel and Elizabeth's engagement would be called off.

During lunch somehow Sebastian messed things up, instead of bringing cooked food there was live animals in the lunch baskets such as a small pig and a few pigeons while Lau's bidding continued and i sighed out of frustration "can't we get a break around here" i yelled at Lau who just chuckled but as it turned out it was the three servant's fault for that which earned them all a smack on the head by Sebastian.

While he was scolding them, Sebastian was cooking and ended up with an impressive dish. "Good job brother good job" i shook my head. After a while we started on again looking for the stag while Lizzy was determined to find it even when Ciel was feeling flushed. It started to rain and Lizzy got out of the boats on foot. Me, Ciel and Sebastian walked after her while i was keeping tabs on the water which worried me.

Lizzy was stubborn and ran after the stag, she got on a boat when the river was starting to go out of control "Lizzy!" I shouted "Selcura, Ciel you both came for me, i saw the stag over there" she stood up but the boat was too rocky and she was trying to untie the boat the rope being held by Bard "careful Lizzy!" i looked and saw the floodgate in front was about to burst forward "hold on Lizzy!" Ciel got into the water and started to go towards her. Just then the gate broke and the water flowed towards them "Ciel! Lizzy!" what was Sebastian doing? he broke the flood gate when Ciel's order was to stop the flooding.

Ciel and Lizzy were swept underwater and i could only watch helplessly but in the meantime Sebastian had the others help direct the flow of the water i helped as well cutting down trees into the river with Ran Mao's help until we succeeded. The next day, Ciel and Elizabeth woke up together and Sebastian explained what we did. 

"But we didn't find the white stag" Ciel sounded disappointed "im sure we will find it someday" Lizzy always so enthusiastic "if i may if your still looking for it its right over there" we ran over the hill to see a hill figure in the shape of a stag, a white stag. 

I could tell this had made Lizzy happy while Tanaka who was hiding in a picnic basket explained what had happened to the hill figure over the years. When we got back to the Phantomhive Manor ((surprising after it was burned down then rebuilt once again)) Ciel was given invitations like crazy something i knew he did not enjoy. 

That evening i tried to get the ruby engagement ring off my finger but to no avail. I would have to marry Claude if i wanted the ring off either that or kill him i could do that but because this ring clouded my feelings for that monstrous spider i knew i couldn't. Even my brother tried getting the ring off and it didn't budge. The entire time, Sebastian's eyes glowed he was angry at what Claude had pulled with me not just in kidnapping me but putting a ring that would force me into marrying him so it would come off.

What would happen now? i couldn't see the future but the thought of me marrying Claude scared me
