Chapter 11- A Maze of Souls

Me, Hannah, Claude and Sebastian watched Alois as he threatened to fall off "i don't suppose there is any way to convince you release my young master as himself" as Sebastian turned to Hannah who was smirking "Only way to do that is to kill me but if you do" "I'll fall off!" We stared at Alois "Prepare yourselves for i am sending you both on a journey into the Maze of Alois's heart only then can you retrieve Ciel's soul" Hannah told them.

Me and Ayden followed Claude and Sebastian to the Maze enterence "so our goal is to collect stamps hidden throughout the maze" Claude was unimpressed by this fact and so they ran in "Ayden i have to go with my brother" i kissed him before running after Sebastian. I hid behind a maze hedge when i found them both at a station that had a small box on it. Claude opened the box and read out what was on it "what was Alois Trancy's real name?" that would Sebastian would get for sure "if i remember correctly his name was Jim Macken" Vines immediately wrapped around Sebastian suspending him in the air while a buzzer sounded

"The answer was wrong, Alois Trancy's real name was Alois Trancy" Claude answered which a bell rung and the hedges opened revealing the first stamp "but i thought that name was given to him by the former Earl Trancy the man who defiled him" Sebastian protested "true but as vile as the man was, Alois was quite taken with his new name" Claude stamped his card then ran off.

"You always seem to be in a bind aren't you my brother?" i came out of hiding with Grell behind me "oh Bassy how attractive let me take a picture" But the look on Sebastian's face was a no "just one?" the look on my brother's face got more intense "oh your a grim fellow aren't you?" Grell asked before cutting the vines and letting my brother free "dead right i am" Sebastian glared at Grell before running to the next question station. I knew Sebastian was tired of playing whatever gave he was forced in.

When we got to the next station, Sebastian took the question out of the box "Truth or False; Alois Trancy died a beautiful death, his body was never defiled by the Former Earl Trancy" i read out, i looked at Sebastian who was staring at the two doors in front of us. One door had a red X on it while the other had a green O "i would say false but the last question had nothing to do with the truth" Sebastian then grabbed Grell "I need you" the reaper looked shocked "I want to make you fly you would enjoy that wouldn't you?" Grell blushed as Sebastian cooed those words "Bassy, I'll fly for you" Grell whispered then my brother held Grell bridal style which made him exclaim with delight. As it happened, Sebastian put Grell over his head and threw him at the X door which caused an explosion "i thought as much" Sebastian kicked the O door down and proceeded to stamp his card.

I looked at Grell who looked extra crispy but as me and Sebastian ran off i stopped and stared at Grell "thank you you saved me from feeling the pain of that explosion so i thank you" i whispered which i knew he heard. Grell may be a loon but slowly i was starting to consider him a friend. 

We heard rumbling at the maze hedges started to change and somehow i knew Ciel was fighting for control of his own body. We when got to the third question station the question was different "Ciel Phantomhive was wronged as he had already achieved his revenge" Sebastian read out while we both looked at the tower Ciel was fighting for control "the answer is yes, yes he was" Sebastian answered while the bell went off and the hedges opened revealing the stamp. However, this stamp was that of Bitter Rabbit Funtoms best selling item.

At the other question station, i took the card out and read it "When the terms of the contract were met, why didn't Sebastian Michaelis eat Ciel Phantomhive's soul?" i looked at my brother who took off the glove that covered the mark of the contract "i lost this arm and the seal temporarily, the demon Claude Faustus took the opportunity to steal your soul from me" horns went off as the stamp was shown but according to my brother it was a goose.

We ended up near the doorway to the tower while Claude was hanging from a trap, Sebastian went over and stepped lightly on Claude's hand "Good evening Claude a pleasure to see you" the look of Sebastian's face, if looks could kill, Claude would be dead now. "Sebastian!" we looked up to see Ciel the true Ciel staring down at us "he saw you, he saw you" Claude sang tauntingly from the trap which made my brother look away teeth gritted, Claude jumped out of the hole and made a upside down hand gesture around his face mimicking glasses "you let him see you, you let him see" before putting his hands down at his sides "i would congratulate you on your master's return but he never took away his order for you to stay out of his sight did he?" i growled at Claude "if you would excuse me" he turned away "Sebastian why are you standing there?! this is an order! eat my soul right now!" Sebastian got down on his knee and bowed "yes my young master"

Alois took control of Ciel's body once more claiming he would get rid of anyone who doesn't love him and that he found people who did, Hannah and Alois went inside the tower with the intention of making a contract with her. Claude and Sebastian broke into the door of the tower and proceeded to run after them. I followed behind right on their heels.

Sebastian and Claude fought the attacking vines of the tower while they ran up in order to get to Alois and Hannah but when we got to them Hannah was kneeling on the ground with Alois standing, the Phantomhive and Trancy Rings on the floor, the stones black. "Claude, you ensnared my heart with your deceptive spider threads, i wanted you to become my eternal highness" Alois told him while the contract symbols changed from Sebastian's to Claude's before finally resting on Hannah's "but more then anything i wanted your love"  Alois fell into Hannah's arms "i have entered into an official contract with Jim Macken and Ciel Phantomhive along with him" Hannah informed us while her good eye glowed red.
