"You kissed him back," Neteyam said looking at his twin sister "Yes I did," She said playing with the shell that she found in the water

"I can't, you're growing up way too fast I'm taking you to dad," he said throwing her over his shoulder

She laughed holding onto her shell tighter so she didn't drop it

"Neteyam I'm 16 and what is dad going to do," She said laughing

"NEYTIRI...OUR DAUGHTER JUST KISSED A BOY" Jake said looking at his mate "Ma jake she's 16 she's old enough and it was only a kiss" Neytiri said looking at her daughter

"Mom, she kissed a boy...on the lips," Netayam said looking at his sister before gagging

"Dude what are you doing," Niri said laughing, "I think I'm going to be sick," He said getting up and leaving

"You shouldn't be kissing no boys, let's go so I can wash your mouth out," Jake said throwing her over his shoulder

"Mom help me please" Neytiri just laughed shaking her head

"No! That water is salty" She yelled wiggling on his shoulder and trying to get down

"Dad stop" He cupped some water in his hand before putting it in her mouth making her quickly spit it out

"Ewww," She said frowning before they both fell into laughter

"My baby girl's growing up so fast," he said bringing her into a hug "Dad it was one kiss please don't cry," She said once she heard him sniff

"I'm not," He said "Good now I'm going to leave and go find tuk and kiri," She said walking away

Niri, tuk, and kiri sat on the sand looking at all the different shells that they found in the water

"This one matches you," Tuk said picking up a shell and giving it to Niri "It's pretty," She said placing it with the other shells she had

"Let's find one that matches kiri," She said looking at her sister "Ouuu this some it looks like her" Tuk said jumping up

"It does," Niri said smiling "What's wrong"? Kiri looked up at her

"Nothing I'm fine" Even though the smile that Kiri gave her was fake she just left it alone

"Niri come on I wanna show you something," Lo'ak said calling his ilu, She did the same thing and they both rode off once they made the bond

"Lo'ak where are you taking me" She looked at her younger brother seeing the smile that he had on his face

"I want you to meet my new friend," He said stopping in the middle of the ocean and making a noise

"Niri this is Payakan, payakan this is my older sister I was telling you about" He made a noise swimming closer to the both of them

"You told him about me"? She said with a smile on her face "Yeah when I was stuck past the reef I only had him to talk to and he kept me safe" Lo'ak said rubbing above his eye

"Shhh" Niri shushed Lo'ak as they snuck back home

They had stayed out in the water with payakan watching the stars and talking "Good night Lo'ak" She whispered getting into her bed

"Good night Niri," He said turning on his side "Where were you guys," Neteyam said scaring Niri and making her jump

"Lo'ak was showing me something and why are you never asleep"? She asked clutching her chest

"Because I can't go to sleep into you get here," he said before turning over and falling asleep
