(please excuse any mistakes that I didn't catch)

Everyone gathered around in the water for Niri's funeral

Tuk and kiri were devastated, their older sister, their role model was gone and they'll never be able to hug her again

To Jake she looked beautiful and peaceful as if she was just taking a nap, her hair was straight and brushed neatly down her back

They all said something to her before they placed her with eywa

"I'm so sorry big sister I love you" lo'ak kissed her forehead "I love you forever" kiri kissed her cheek "what about the shells we were supposed to find" Tuk whispered kissing her forehead

"You'll always be the baby twin I love you forever niri," Neteyam said in a low raspy voice before kissing her cheek

"My beautiful baby" Neytiri placed a kiss on her nose "You're at peace now baby girl" Jake kissed her temple before him and Neytiri placed her at the bottom of the tree of souls

"Neteyam you did it"! Niri clapped her hands happy for her brother for catching his first fish

"Daddy, what's wrong? Why are you crying"? She asked wiping his tears which made him smile "It's nothing baby I'm just so happy to see you" He said touching her hair "I'm always happy to see you" she said before looking back and smiling at her mother

The village was very quiet after her death. The boy's took it the hardest, Neteyam never went to sleep, and lo'ak couldn't bring himself to sleep in the hut considering that his bed was across from hers

And A'teyo never stopped crying and only left his room at night when he knew everybody was sleep

"Neteyam, please try to get some sleep," Jake said sitting next to his son

"I can't" he looked over at her neatly made bed which hasn't been touched since she passed "I can't sleep into she get's here...and she's not coming back...dad everything hurts" he broke down in jake's arms

"I know... I wish I could take all of y'all pain away... But I think she would want you to get some sleep" he said patting his back once they finished talking

Lo'ak sat up against the tree that niri use to love, he never understood why she loved this tree so much until now, at this view of the tree you could see everything

And when you climb up the view was even better, some nights he would sleep out here and other night he would sleep at the front of their hut but never inside of it

Ronal and Tsireya tried their best to be there for kiri, tuk, and Neytiri even if it wasn't much they still loved the company

Tonowari had been trying to keep jake and the boy's mind on something else so he started training them to be warriors of the metkayina clan

It's worked sometimes, he was trying his best

Yeah so...you guys like the book so far?

The only reason Niri died is because you guys will see a big change in Neteyam and even A'teyo and most likely lo'ak too but Neteyam needs that grief and pain to turn him into the man that he's going to be

Anyways hope you guys enjoyed these two chapters I tried my best :)
