(please excuse any mistakes that I didn't catch)

Neteyam stood on the deck where niri loved to sit, he had been distant from everyone

He was stuck in his head, the same questions running through his mind over and over again. What if I took the bullet for her? What if I never left her as she told us? Why didn't I save her? Why couldn't I save her? Was it my fault?

He was beating himself up about something he had no control over, he doesn't know how he can keep going on without

He hasn't slept for a week, he has always gone to sleep with Niri for 16 years straight, what was he supposed to do now? He was lost, hurt, and angry that he couldn't save his twin sister

"Hey" A'teyo saw how hard neteyam was taking his sister's death, he was going to try and be there for him because he knew Niri would want him too

He had fallen in love with niri and never got the chance to tell her even though he could tell that she already knew, he still wanted to tell her face to face

"Hey" Neteyam's voice was very low and scratchy "I just wanted to check and see how you were doing... I had talked to your dad"

"I-uhh I'm doing the best I can... I miss her- his voice cracked as he looked down at the water -I just wish everything was different, I've never been away from her for more than an hour... What am I supposed to do now"?

Jake had the hut to himself everyone was out trying to get their mind off the fact that niri wasn't coming back

He sat on the bed, his hair down like Niri liked, she always loved his hair down ever since she was a baby, and he never knew why

He kept his eyes on the necklace in his hand, it was the last piece of jewelry she ever made him, he didn't realize he was crying into a tear fell onto his hand

Tonowari came and took a seat next to Jake

He thought hard before he said anything "How are you doing"? Jake couldn't lie and say he was doing okay everybody could see straight through him

"Bad" he let out a small chuckle "She wanted to go home, and I failed her" He cleared his throat when his voice cracked

"Her death was my fault... Why couldn't I save her"? Tonowari placed his hand on his shoulder "You didn't fail her, she might be here physically anymore but just know she doesn't blame you for anything" Jake nodded his head before putting the necklace back on

"She's with you every day," he said before getting up and leaving

"You don't have to pretend to be okay," Ronal said looking over at Neytiri as they weaved "I'm am not pretending, I'm fine" Neytiri replied keeping her head down and her eyes on the things she had in her hand

"I know you have to be strong because you have other children to take care of... but you need to give yourself time to grieve or you will never be able to move on" Neytiri sighed before looking over at Ronal

"Thank you for caring... but I'm fine trust me" Neytiri knew she was right, she didn't stop and give herself time to grieve Niri but she couldn't just stop everything she had to do, because despite Niri being gone she still had 4 other kids to take care of and she couldn't let them see her broken
