I went for classes the next day as usual. It was another day of core modules so I knew I would see Park.

I was pissed with him but also knew it wasn't really his fault. Why was I behaving like that also eludes me.

I walked into lab only to see Park taking a quick nap before classes as usual. I slid into the seat next to him and just took out my notes. As I was in the midst of it, Park placed his hand on my left arm and I looked at him. He grinned as he sat up, albeit a little sleepily. I shook my head at him and nagged him to get his books out. Beam was coming back from some medical camp so Lam had gone off to pick him up, the besotted boyfriend he was so it left me and Park alone for the day.

We were together for all of our classes, took labs and then lunch came by. We went to the canteen and Park offered to buy our food. He came back with my favourite dishes and I just grinned at him as we tucked in. We were almost completing our meal when Li came by. My face instantly changed but I tried to rein it in. Park just looked at me briefly but didn't say anything.

"Yes Nong?"

"P! Thank you for coaching me!! I got an A na for my exam!'

"That's great. Congrats."

"I want to celebrate as it allowed me to be promoted next year. Can I please invite you for dinner? My boyfriend is bringing me to the steakhouse to celebrate and I told him I wanted to invite you too! You can bring your boyfriend too."

Before Park could say anything, Li turned to me and waiied respectfully. "Hello P Forth, please do come along too yea? I am sure you and my boyfriend will hit it off as he's into fishing like you too!"

I just looked at this junior stunned. Did he think I was Park's boyfriend? Before I could say anything, I heard Park reply, "he isn't my boyfriend Nong. I would come for dinner. And if you are ok, I can bring Forth too. It should be fun."

Li nodded cheerfully then took his leave from us. I didn't say anything and we finished off our lunch but I just looked at Park who was busy with his own food.

As we were walking back to the faculty for our afternoon classes, Park muttered, "Sorry about Li assuming you are my boyfriend. Don't know why he thinks like that. Didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

"Nothing like that. It's all good."

We completed lessons then headed home to shower and change before I met up with them at the steakhouse. Li was chatting cheerfully with Park whilst his boyfriend was settling the reservations. As I walked up, the boys smiled at me. Park turned to see me and grinned as I walked up to them. Li joined his boyfriend whilst I stood next to Park.

"Dude. You look good."

"Thanks Park."

"Whom are you impressing?"

"OI!"

Park chuckled as we went in. We sat next to each other. He wanted to use the bathroom and went off. We all started to place our orders. Li wanted to wait for Park but i assured him I knew his order and put it in. Park came back and he was like, "did you order my steak medium rare and a Coors Light beer?"

I nodded, reassuring him I did. Li was so impressed that I knew his specific order and started berating his boyfriend for not being that thoughtful. I chuckled as Li's boyfriend mock glared at me.

Over dinner, Park as usual was being attentive towards me. We both had our ways of looking after each other and we never realized it until Li pointed it out. Park always made sure my water was refilled quickly and would take away the stuff I don't like to eat and place it on his own.

"Are you always this attentive to P Forth, P Park?"

"Huh? Attentive?"

Li looked at us incredulously.

"Are you for real? Did you not realize how well you two know each other and look out for each other so well? And to think my boyfriend and me are the actual couple but you two behave more like one."

Park kept quiet whilst I couldn't help it. My ears just turned red and I was starting to blush. I quickly looked at my food.

Li's boyfriend saw my 2nd hand embarrassment and he diverted the topic skillfully. I was grateful for that and shot him a thankful look. Once dinner was over, we went out for a smoke. More like Li disappeared to go buy some ice cream whilst Park took a call. Li's boyfriend and I smoked together and I thanked him for the diversion.

"It's cool. Looks like you two haven't decided to reveal it so we didn't want to call you out on it. Sorry about Li. He's just very taken by Park and thinks the world of him. But I can see why. He has such a steady head on, grounded and yet so loving. He really adores you huh?"

"Park?"

"Dude. You weren't kidding. You two don't realize it?"

Li's boyfriend chuckled and patted my shoulders and that's when Park came back. He didn't say anything but I could see he didn't seem too happy about Li's boyfriend being too physically close with me.

Li's boyfriend surrendered his hands up and assured it was just a friendly notion but apologised. Park nodded and just then Li came by. Both boys offered to give us a ride home as Li had his car but I declined it as I had my bike. Park said he will go home with me.

We all said our goodbyes and the couple left, leaving me and Park alone.

"Shall we go home, "boyfriend"?"

"Idiot!"

Park smacked me as I chuckled and ran off to my bike. But as I waited there for him to walk up to me, it hit me that maybe it wasn't a bad idea.
