This was from my Valentine's day prompt list a few years ago. x 

"I have seen this recipe online and I am obsessed with it. So basically do you wish to go and make them with me. I have been watching this tiktok account with everything" Jesse suggested as he showed you the videos. "Yeah I will make them with you. But do you have any of the ingredients?" you asked him as you watched the video of the Mini Egg cookie bars. "No babe I don't so I guess I have to head out" he sighed as he picked up his car keys and headed to the shops. "Not taking your phone?" you asked him as you passed it to him. "Thanks " you laughed as he headed to the shops to get his ingredients. "I am back" he shouted as he dropped everything to the kitchen counter. "I didn't know how many ingredients you really need for all of this. It is crazy" he laughed as he watched his hand to go and bake. "You are so cute aren't you" you teased him. "Right let's make this babe" he smiled as he read the online. "I am so excited to make this" you said as you finished washing your hands. "Let's get going, read the recipe out for me please Jess" you asked him as he looked through his phone. "Preheat the oven and then you need to whisk and mix everything" he told you. "Show me what the photo looks like, just so I know what I need to make" you asked him as you leant over and he showed the phone to you. "Oh wow, they look just so yummy. But I feel mine won't look this good. Can you at least chop the mini eggs. Yes I know they will be pretty hard to do. But I know you can do it" you asked him as you passed him the bag of mini eggs. "Fine" he pouted. "You were the one who wanted to make it, yet you are the one standing there watching me while doing everything" you laughed as he rolled his eyes. After a while of making the cookie bars, you finally had them in the oven. "I am hungry, can we snack before we eat the bar?" Jesse huffed. "No babe, once they are out of the oven and cooled down a little. You will be allowed to have them" you informed him. "Urgh fine" he rolled his eyes as he went in the living room. You finally took them out of the oven. "Oh wow, they look so yummy" you smiled as you pulled them out and putting them on the tray. Jesse came running in. "Oh my wow, what a great baker I am" you gasped in shock. "Wait, you are the good baker. Piss off. I am" you huffed. After waiting for the cookie bars to cool down. "Okay, I am having first bite" you mumbled as you bit into it. "Wow, they are incredible" you said as you were half way through eating it. "I love it so much" you said as you made Jesse have a bite. "Oh wow, okay I need to stop myself from eating the whole tray" you laughed.
