Esteban had forgotten to call his sister after training last night. But now he whished he had called her, because this was not the surprise he wanted to start his Qualifying day with. He looked down at the phone Mick had pushed under his nose. "Pierre showed me this, when I walked past AlphaTauri this morning." It was a photo of his sister with little Jack Wolff on her arm as the two of them walked across Monaco. The caption of the instagram photo read 'Ocon's sister to be the next Wolff?'. Mick had raised he eyebrow at Esteban. "I didn't know she was close with Toto?" Esteban shook his head. "She is his kids teacher." Esteban muttered as he pushed to phone back into the hands of Mick. "I'll call her, there must be a explanation." Mick nodded and then shrugged. "She always has been into older men." Looking across the garage where Fernando had been glancing at the two younger drivers. Fernando had also seen the picture of his ex-fiance with Toto Wolffs kid and he had been listening in on the conversation between the two youngsters. The last remark, made by little Schumacher, had hit a nerve. So now, Fernando Alonso was making his way trough the paddock on his way to the Mercedes garage. He would get the story straight from Toto's mouth.
"What do you think you're doing with Gracie Ocon?" Fernando had grabbed Toto by the collar of his shirt. Fernando didn't know why, but he felt jealous. Grace Ocon had been his fiance, and even though things had ended because of him and his behaviour. He still had a soft sport for the girl. And Toto Wolff shouldn't get involved with her. He was 16 years older than the girl. A lot of people in the Mercedes garage started yelling and tried to push Fernando off of Toto. But Toto just raised an eyebrow at the Spanish hothead and smirked. "I don't see why that's any of your business, Alonso." At this Fernande grabbed his collar a little more. "Relax Alonso. She's just babysitting my kid." Fernando loosened his grip and finally let go of his collar. Fernando scoffed and turned around to walk out of the garage. "But I wouldn't mind if I got to know her a little more.. intimately." Toto lowly muttered, so that only Alonso could hear him. In one swift movement Fernando turned around and hit Toto in the face.
Esteban, who hadn't noticed any of the commotion on the otherside of the paddock, was calling with his sister. "It would've been nice to get a heads up, instead of seeing several pictures of my sister on social media." Grace rolled her eyes. "I didn't know until last night either. Toto called me after the training sessions. And I was waiting for you to call me to explain." Esteban sighed, he felt a little guilty for not calling her. "I'm sorry. It was a long day and I totally forgot. But back to the topic." Esteban apologized. "Why is Toto Wolffs son with you again?" Grace chuckled. "His parents got sick, Susie is away and he didn't have anyone to take care of the little guy. And I know him, so it was a pretty logical solution." Esteban sighed. "Toto Wolff knows half of the people walking this earth and he didn't have anyone else to watch his kid? I find that hard to believe." Gracie hummed. "Why is it such a big deal? You didn't mke a fuss when I watched Sebastians kids." "Yeah, well, Sebastian is happily married and you knew him as a friend. Toto is single and you always have this weakness for single, older men. Especially older men in motorsport." He grumbled. Ofcourse, that was why Esteban was making such a fuss. Before she could answer Esteban a lott of comotion went down in the Alpine garage. Grace couldn't make out what was going on due to all of the noise. "Gracie, I have to go. Talk to you later, have fun babysitting Toto's kid." And with that Esteban hang up the phone and rushed back into the garage.
"What the hell is going on?" Esteban asked Tom, his trainer. Tom looked up and shook his head. "Alonso has gone crazy." Esteban raised his eyebrow. "What did the idiot do now?" Tom sighed and looked at Esteban. "He hit Toto in the jaw." "The fuck, why would he do that?" Tom crossed his arms and raised his eyebrows as if to make a point. "Alonso was yelling at Toto about Grace." Esteban frowned. "The mother fucker does not have the right to yell about my sister." And before Tom could stop the young Frenchman, Esteban stormed into Fernando's driversroom.
Fernando was in his drivers room, holding an icepack against his knuckles when Esteban stormed in. Fernando stared at the frenchman. "I'm not in the mood Ocon." He grumbled. Esteban shrugged. "I don't care if you're in the mood or not." He yelled. "I can not believe you have the audacity. Grace is none of your business anymore." Fernando rolled his eyes. "Well, someone has to protect her from a man that almost twenty years older." Fernando looked into Estebans eyes and he wasn't planning on backing down anytime soon. "And I didn't see you do anything." Esteban took a step forward. "My sister is none of your business after all you did to her." Fernando sighed and hung his head a little, he knew Esteban was right on that part. But he couldn't just let Toto talk about her like that. "Fine. I got my punch in anyway. I'll back off. Just look after your sister." Fernando hissed at his teammate. "Now get out of my room." Esteban huffed and made his way out of the room. Maybe he should talk to Toto next.
Esteban was about to make his way over to the Mercedes garage but was intercepted by Tom. "Don't go there now. It won't make it any better and it's time for Q1." Esteban huffed but eventually nodded and walked into his own drivers room with Tom. He'd talk with Toto after Qualifying.
