The race weekend hadn't quite gone how the Mercedes team expected it to. Lewis ending up second, which wasn't the result he had expected, and Valteri ending up with a DNF behind his name due to a severe accident with George. Due to the mess involving George and Valteri, Toto and his drivers had been called to the FIA offices for a debrief. Leaving Jack in the care of Grace once again.

Grace watched as the three men gathered in the garage to get ready for the FIA.  Valteri smiled at her as he noticed her and Jack. He gave the girl a small wave and then turned to his PT, continuing the post-race stretches he'd been doing before. Toto and Lewis, who were still discussing the race, looked up as they noticed Valteri's wave. Toto looked Grace straight in the eye, making the girl smile a little. She gave the man a small wave. After what happened last night in his hotel room, Grace couldn't help but blush as the man looked at her. However, as soon as he'd looked at her, his eyes turned cold and he adverted his eyes again. Completely ignoring her wave, her smile, her total appearance in general.

Grace huffed at Toto's behaviour and turned around and looked at Jack. The boy still had his big earmuffs on and was happily drawing. She crouched down in front of the boy and carefully lifted one of the muffs. "Jackie, your dad is going to be awhile. Do you wanna go grab some ice cream?" She noticed as the eyes of the little boy lit up and he frantically nodded. Grace smiled and pointed to his pencils and other toys that were all laid out on the bench. "Let's clean up and get moving." Jack nodded and started to clean up all of his toys quickly. Grace smiled and kissed the boy on the top of his head. He was such a sweetheart.

Lewis had watched Grace from across the garage as he noticed how Toto completely ignored her existence. He felt bad for her. He had noticed the glances she had thrown at his team principal and he couldn't deny that there had been some kind of connection between the two. His principal, however, was now giving the beautiful French the cold shoulder and Lewis saw how much it hurt the girl. He slowly shook his head and huffed under his breath. He looked back at Toto, shook his head and ended their conversation by walking away from the man. "Lewis!" Toto called for his driver as he watched him walk away. "Hamilton, we weren't done here."

Lewis turned back and shook his head as he moved back towards Toto. "We'll have enough time to discuss the race with the FIA later. For now it would be nice if our paddock guests feel appreciated." Lewis raised an eyebrow at Toto, waiting for his principal to catch on to what he was saying. Toto crossed his arms in front of his chest and huffed.

"I'm still team principal first. Our guests should be happy to be at a grand prix and entertain themselves." Lewis rolled his eyes at his stubborn teamprincipal. "You invite the poor girl over and then decide to just blantly ignore her? She likes you for gods sake. She's here for you not the race." Lewis hissed as he glanced over at Grace, who was grabbing Jacks stuff and stuffing it into a backpack. Toto also glanced over and he watched as the woman handled his kid in such a gentle and caring manner. "Admit it." Lewis said and Toto jolted out of his gaze. Toto raised his eyebrow at Lewis. "You like her." Lewis stated and Toto sighed. He ruffled his hair with his right hand and then rubbed the hand across his stubble. He didn't want to admit it, especially not to his driver, but he did like the French Woman. He felt a conection to the woman he hadn't felt with anyone in a long time, except for Susie, and it messed with his head.

So instead of admitting anything to Lewis, Toto just grunted shook his head and pointed towards the exit of their garage. "We have the FIA meeting now, lets go Lewis." Lewis rolled his eyes and huffed. "I'm not going to say it again, Hamilton, let's go." With this Lewis had to obey his principal and walked in the opposite direction of Grace and Jack. Toto followed his driver but not before glancing at Grace and his son one more time. Watching as the duo walked out of the garage.

Grace and Jack had walked across the paddock and scored an ice cream half way trough. Jack was babbling while licking his ice cream. Grace couldn't help but smile at the happy kid as they walked the paddock. "Gracie?" Jack asked as he pulled on the sleave of her jacket. Grace stopped walking and looked down at the little kid who was smiling up at her. "What's up Jackie?" He smiled and pointed over to the see pink/blue people. They were near the Alpine garage. "Can we go see Estie?" Grace laughed at the enthousiasm the kid held for her own brother. "Okay we can go see if he's in, but stay close to me and if he's not there we return to Mercedes." Jack nodded and walked a little in front of Grace. His little feet adjust a little speed and he was running towards the Alpine garage. Every once in awhile the boy looked over his shoulder to make sure Grace was still there. Everytime he noticed that Grace was still behind him he would smile and give her a little nod and then turn his head back into the direction he was going. Once the two entered the garage several engineers smiled at Grace and welcomed her.

"ESTIE!" Jack smiled and yelled as soon as he saw Esteban coming out of his drivers room. Esteban smiled brightly as he picked up the little kid. Ever since Grace had introduced him properly to Toto's kid, the two had gotten on pretty well. "Jackie boy!" Esteban smiled and ruffled his hair as he held the kid up on his arm.

Grace smiled at the scene in front of her from a little distance. Happy to spend more time with her brother, after all these months. She smiled at the sight of the two boys getting along. Just as she wanted to move towards the two, a large hand wrapped around her wrist and pulled her back. She felt how her shoulders bumped into a broad hard chest and as she inhaled she immediately recognized the scent. It was musky, incredibly masculine but also fresh. She would recognize the scent anywhere, as it had been the scent of the man she'd woken up next to for several years. "I always knew a kid would look good on you." His deep voice stated. "However, I always imagined it would be mine, ours, and not a kid from another marriage."
