[Y/N] carefully trod down the stairs of the Inazuman prison with a guard from Tenshukaku trailing right behind her. He had been assigned to following [Y/N] around for the time being, since, of course, she couldn't be trusted as of right now. Nonetheless, the woman did not mind this. In fact, she felt more comfortable with the guard near her, since the place she was headed to was not a pleasant one. It brought back rather grim memories of the time she, herself, had spent down there, and of the events that followed because of it.

Once [Y/N] stepped in front of the little room her brother was being held in, she couldn't help but sigh at the sight of it all. The prison cell was barely six feet by four. The walls were thick grey stones, and there was a mean barred opening with thick metal bars and no glass. In the summer the fresher air would be a relief, helping to alleviate the stench of festering sewage but in the cold seasons, it would let in a wicked draft and reduce the temperature to near freezing. It was no brighter inside than the gathering gloom of dusk, even at midday. The bed was a plank of wood on legs, there was no mattress, no cushioning and only one thin blanket. It was suffocatingly quiet. To the point that she felt slightly uncomfortable.

[Y/N] felt the need to express her thoughts to Asahi, "How lucky. You won't have to live in here during the winter."

Asahi was sitting on the ground, with his eyes closed, but upon hearing the woman's words, he slowly turned his gaze towards her. He scoffed at the sight of her.

"So you get to walk away scot-free?"

The woman smiled, "Correct. I've been administered no punishment."

Asahi observed [Y/N] for a second, then chuckled, "The look your guard is giving you would suggest otherwise."

[Y/N] turned her head to look at the guard, who was staring at her in slight surprise. Well, she didn't blame him for not going along with her lies, but he was a guard, should he not be able to control his expressions better? Once more, she let out a sigh.

"It seems I surprised him more than I did you."

With a click of his tongue, Asahi grumbled, "Did you come here to gloat?"

The woman smiled brightly, placing her hands behind her, "Yeah, I did. It feels nice."

"Hm, I see," Asahi turned away from her, "If you're done here, then leave."

With a little smile and a moment of silence, [Y/N] spoke again, "No need to play dumb anymore. You know I did not come here for no reason."

Asahi groaned, "I'm ignoring you."

"Well, then don't."

But Asahi did not reply, he only turned to look up at the little window. He could see the shadows of the birds as they flew past the little room he was in. It was a much better view than his sister.

"Asahi, aren't you interested in my question?"

Asahi slightly shook his head, "I already know what you mean to ask. But I'm afraid my answer would be a little difficult for someone like you to understand."

[Y/N] chuckled, "Let me ask you anyway."

It didn't matter to her what Asahi's opinion of her intellect was. She was getting exiled, anyway. She'll have more than enough time to figure his answer out.

Asahi gazed at her once more before letting out a soft sigh. He seemed rather hesitant at first, no longer hiding his true feelings, but he soon caved in, "Fine."

[Y/N] tilted her head to the side, her hair scarcely falling over her eyes, "Why did you let me know of your plans? You could've gotten away with everything had you not been so... obvious with it all. Had you not such a big mouth—"
