Leah's POV:

I just got out of the shower and was changing back into the clothes I was wearing before

They didn't allow me back into my old home to get anything

Which I don't really care about considering I didn't really have much

I heard a knock on the door

I jumped ten feet in the air and squeaked

"Leah it's me Kyson, I'm here to get you for dinner. Are you ok? I heard you scream." He spoke through the door in a very calm voice

I did not scream he's being dramatic

"Y-yeah, I'm o-ok." I stuttered out

"Can I come in?" He asked softly

"Y-yea" I squeaked out

The door open to reveal my older brother

"Hey sweetie" Kyson spoke lightly taking in my scared expression

"H-hey" I hate my stupid stutter

"Are you ready for dinner?" He smiles at me

Dinner?

I get to eat?

With them?

"What's wrong?" he looks at me with concerned filled eyes

"Nothing l-lets go" I smiled but it didn't reach my eyes

He looks unconvinced but doesn't push it

Kyson sits down at the dinner table with the rest of my family as they all look at me

The urge to run away is getting strong

"Come sit next to me" Jaden smiles at me

I sit next to him, and maids bring out food for us

I just stare at it

My dad looks at me with concern

"Aren't you going to eat?" He laughs a little trying to hide his concern

I just wanted to be sure, so I asked

"I-I can?" I looked at him making sure this wasn't a trick like my stepdad used to play on me

"What the f**k do you mean 'I can?' he just asked if you were going to" Matteo seethed in anger

He was scaring me, so I pushed myself further into my seat

"You're acting like some dumb little b***h" Dominic looked at me with fire in his eyes
