finally, not that school was bad this week it just gives me some down time
i haven't been able to relax
now i know my family a lot better i can stop stressing so much
i've even gained some weight
i'm eating a little more each day and Vince tells me how proud he is of me every day
so right now I'm laying in bed with Sammy on my lap snuggling watching TV
it's 8:00 right now so I should probably go grab some breakfast soon
i still don't eat a lot but i eat more than i did 2 weeks ago
i walk downstairs with Sammy behind me
"good morning bubba" i hug Vince from behind
"good morning baby" he turns around and kisses my hair
i'm wearing sleep shorts and a pullover, and i plan on staying like this the rest of the day

"where dad?" i ask him not seeing him in the kitchen
"he's at work and i'm about to head out myself" Vince pats my head and hugs me
"okie" i say sadly poking my lip out a bit
"i'm sorry i wish i could stay" Vince says softly
"i know your a grown up and you have to work" i roll my eyes and smile
"Dante made breakfast, have as much as you can-" i cut him off before he can finish what he says everyday
"but don't stress yourself out about it" i say slightly mocking his overprotectivness
"yes, i'll see you in a bit" he rolls his eyes and runs his fingers through my hair

after Vince leaves i eat breakfast with Dante, Kyson, and Rhett
the rest of the boys have not woken up yet
"hey leah the boys have friends over on saturdays so just prepare yourself for when they come over, and call me if they get too rowdy" dante tells me with a playful but serious look
"i'll probably just stay in my room and watch movies with sammy" i smile
"we do not get rowdy" rhett states slightly offended
"mmh okay tell that to the multiple broken lamps, TVs, couches etc." kyson jumps in
i laugh and get up and put my dishes in the sink
when i turn around i bump into to Dominic
of course
"watch where your goin kid" he gives me a stern look
"i'm sorry" i whisper scurrying past him
"Dominic what the h**l" dante looks angry
and he never cusses infront of me so he must be really angry
"she was in my f**king way" Dominic seethed out
"oh heaven forbid she even grace your presence" Dante yells back
"why is she even here" wow that one hurt
"because she f**king family you a**hole!" Dante screams in his face
"that doesn't mean she's welcome here godd**m it!" Dominic slams his fist down on the counter
i couldn't stop my eyes from watering
I turn around and ran up the steps with my brother calling my name begging me to come back
i run straight into a chest and look up and see it's matteo
great
the lord really isn't on my side today
"who made you f**king cry" is the only thing he says when he sees my tear stained face
"t-their their fighting" i say hiccuping in between my words followed my a long sob
his eyes soften, and you can see the gears turning in his head
"come here" he says as he picks me up underneath my armpits and sets me on his hip like a baby
surprisingly i like the comfort being held like this brings me, it's something i never got in my early childhood
we walk down the stairs and he gently puts his hand over my ear and pushes it into his shoulder
"SHUT THE F**K UP" he screams at them and they look up startled
"who the f**k do you think your talking to" Dominic is really scary
"you guys are scaring leah" you tell 'em big bro
"since when did you start caring about scaring leah" that was dante this time
"since i realized that it's not a crime to let my guard down and care about someone for once!" he screams at them
he cares about me
hehe i knew i'd get him sooner or later
"you care about me" i whisper on the verge of tears because of how sweet this is
i'm a emotional train wreak but no one can deny how sweet this is
"yes Leah i f**king care about you"
i hug him so tight and giggle
"i knew you'd come around" he rolls his eyes at that one
i hear a door slam and then notice dominic left
i'll get him sooner or later
"leah i'm so so sorry about the fighting" dante come up to me and matteo with sad eyes
"all is forgiven, you were just defending me" i smile warmly at him
i snuggle into matteo
"i'm going to have to put you down before my friends get here" matteo tells me with a straight face
he doesn't want them to know what a big softy he is
"okay your secretly soft heart is safe with me" i giggle
"only for you princess" he rolls his eyes
