Leah's mom took her from the rest of her family when she was very young, her stepdad abused her after her mother died, so her life was terrible. But Leah is about to get some unexpected news after her stepdad dies...she has a father and 7 OLDER brot...
when i hear leah say she feels like a temporary doll my air catches in my throat.
"leah..." i choke out
"no one feels that way and if they do they are not worth the time of day. if they can't understand what happened to you was none of your control, they are f**king idiots" vince says with a strong voice
"leah please talk to us" dad finally speaks up
leah cracked her door open
"i'm sorry you found out" she painfully whispered
"don't say that." vince scolds
"never be sorry about that. we are not mad at you. we are not mad we found out. we are not mad we found out this way. we are not mad you weren't the one to tell us. we could never understand how difficult opening up about this could possibly be." vince crouches down to her level
"really"leah cries
"really, i swear." vince's reaches out to her
leah slowly puts her hands in his
"i've just been scared you guys would treat me different. i don't want pity stares or for you to think i'm weak. i-i-i um i just want to be treated the same you guys have been treating me. i've never felt loved and being here with you guys has made me know what love looks like and feels like." Leah's voice cracks as she cry's and sniffles
vince couldn't help it anymore and pulls her into a hug, i could even see him blink a tear away
"we will always love you. we will teach you what love looks like, even though i don't think this is the most functional family or the most ideal" he chuckles
"but it's our family" leah whispers
"so that means it's perfect" she kisses vince's cheek
"God put me through that situation so i could be here with you guys and know how truly special love is and how different it is for every family. i never saw love from them only hate, lies, and evil" she looks at all of us with a ghost of a smile
i can't help but smile at her, even though she's been through hell she can look back on it and be grateful for it. not alot of people can do that

after the very eventful evening we had, i took a shower and now i'm getting dressed for dinner.
i hope it's not different from now on
i just want it to be the same
i walk down stairs
"hey leah it's steak tonight" jayden says in passing
"yum" i smile and take a seat
"do you want to go to school tomorrow?because you don't have to if you don't want to" my dad tells me
"i want to" i smile at him
i want to see theo
and my friends of course
"okay. if you want me to come pick you up at any given moment text me" he looks at me with a very serious face
"okay dad" i smile and giggle
"me and the guys will keep an eye on her" jayden says with a toothy smile

but i get to see my friends...and my brothers friends
he's just so ugh
i can't explain how beautiful he is
he's so manly
but so gentle
leah you barely know the guy snap out of it.
"leah hurry up!!" jayden's muffled voice come through my door
"one minute!" i hurry to my closet and slip into the outfit i layed out last night

yesterday kyson and dante were very comforting and gentle with me after everything went down. both of them came to my room and sat with me. they were just there for me
vince and matteo were very angry. not at me but at the situation. vince could contain his anger but matteo didn't say much, i knew why
jayden looked broken. he was quiet; which i had never seen before
rhett was the only one with a level head, he was trying to control the situation, he was trying to prevent any outbursts
but dominic didn't say anything, i actually haven't seen him since yesterday morning. i don't know if he didn't come home. i didn't know if he heard but didn't care. i didn't know what he thought. i didn't know if he hated me even more now
but i'm trying not to think about that
"hey sammy" i sit and rub the golden fluff ball
wyatt comes walking into the room aswell when jayden calls him for breakfast
wyatt seems to be warming up to me

i still let him approach me though, not wanting to scare him off
reggie on the other hand i haven't even met, dominic keeps him locked away in his room, no one deals with him except dominic
"come on leah" jayden walks out of the door and hops into the backseat of matteo's sports car
