Dominic's Pov: (thought I'd surprise y'all a little bit😏😙)
I'm in the kitchen making myself a PB&J when I hear the door open
(Only real men eat PB&J's😤💪)
Leah and Vince come in and Vince is laughing his a** off
I look at them confused
Dad walks in and sees them
"What's so funny" he looks at them and chuckles
Leah crosses her arms over her chest and looks at Vince with a "stern" look but she just looks like a mad puppy
"It's not funny Vince" she states with a blush on her cheeks
"I know baby I'm sorry," he says and pats her head
Me and dad are still standing there dumbfounded
"Dad, not trying to be ungrateful or rude but I did not like my doctor" Leah grits out
"What did he do?" Dad turned serious and so did I
"He didn't do anything wrong," Vince says putting air quotes around "wrong"
"What do you mean?" I finally spoke up
"He just made Leah...uncomfortable," Vince says rubbing the back of his neck
"He tried to take my pants off!!" Leah blushes as she yells at us
"Leah honey that's a normal part of a physical" Dad tries to explain to her without laughing
I sigh in relief
I thought I was going to have to make a trip to the doctor's office
"oh" Leah pales
"Oh nooo" Leah wines and turns to Vince
"I feel so bad now" she puts her hand over her mouth
"It's okay Leah" Vince coos at her
I have never seen Vince be this gentle and loving
It's crazy. He's always been so cold and hard, but not with Leah. He looks at Leah like she hung the stars.
He worships the ground she walks on. If she told him to kiss her feet he wouldn't hesitate
If she told him to jump, he'd ask how high, is she told him to rob a bank he'd ask how much
She has him wrapped around her finger
And I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't lay on the ground and let her walk on me, so she didn't get her shoes dirty

Leah's POV:
I'm lying on my bed watching TV when someone knocks on my door
I get up and say come in
When they open the door, I sigh in relief when I see it's Jaden
I smile at him
"Hey Jaden"
"Hey baby sis" he greets me
"whatcha doin'?" he asks
"Just watching TV, wanna join?" I ask hopeful I was kinda bored
"Sureee" he jumps in my bed and turns the channel to some show
I get into the bed and look at the TV and furrow my eyebrows "What's this?"
"Criminal Minds, like the best show ever" he laughs and looks at me like I've grown two heads
"What's it about?" I ask then I see someone get killed
"OH MY GOSH, JADEN HE JUST KILLED THAT GIRL" I yell at him and gawk at the TV
"...yeah, that's kinda the point" he chuckles and turns back to the tv
"Oooo you know what would be good?" he asked me with a mischievous look on his face
"What?" I ask confused
"Popcorn" he smirks and laughs lowly
"Watch and learn kid" he smirks and picks up his phone
"Come to Leah's room it's an emergency," he says into the phone and then hangs up
"Now we wait" he smiles at me when we hear thundering footsteps coming toward my room
Dante busts through the door
"Leah are you ok?!" Dante clears the room in a matter of seconds
"I-I'm fine" I giggle when I realize what Jaden has done
"Jaden you little-" He groans refraining himself from what he was about to say
"Be a doll and fetch us some popcorn" Jaden says with a smirk
"Jaden don't be so rude" I scold him
"Yeah, Jaden don't be so rude" Dante smirks
"But yes, I can get Leah some popcorn" Dante exits the room leaving Jaden with a pout on his face
"I'm sorry Bubby," I say in a baby voice pinching his cheeks, mocking him
He just rolls his eyes at me
"Soo are you ready for school?" He asks me his entire mood changing
I start to play with my hands
"I'm nervous but I'll make it" Lie. Big fat lie I'm more than "nervous" I'm petrified
"Hey, I'll be right by your side the whole time" He smiles at me reassuringly
I wish I believed him

Sorry it's short It's really just a filler chapter between the last one and her first day of school
