The day had already surrendered to the encroaching night. There I was, ensconced in my chamber's chair, cradling my head in my hands while idly typing nonsensical musings. It was then that a knock at the door jolted me back to reality, and I realized it was none other than Dr. Michelle .

"Dr. Michelle, what has transpired to incite such fury within you?" I pondered with concern.

"You have slain that man," Dr. Michelle accused, pointing her index finger directly at me.

"Excuse me?" I retorted, my brow furrowing in confusion.

"Spare me the act of feigned innocence and cunning, Dr. Younie. The man perished solely because you reduced the pressure of his oxygen levels," she asserted.

"What are you insinuating, Dr. Michelle? Why would I, a physician, commit such an act without cause? How could I possibly murder my patient?" I exclaimed in disbelief.

"But you did, YOU DID," she reiterated, pounding on the glass table repeatedly, the intensity of the sound mirroring the vehemence of her accusations against me-a behavior I found most distasteful. I rose from my chair, a gesture of exasperation.

"Look, I've done nothing of the sort. You're raising your voice at me without cause," I defended myself with formal restraint.

"Cease your attempts to portray yourself as blameless, Dr. Han Younie. I am privy to your dark truth; you are a murderer."

"Why do you seek to entangle me in this conflict, Dr. Michelle? We have worked together for nearly three years; you know me well. How can you utter such words? I suspect you may have witnessed something misleading or erroneous."

"I am neither mistaken nor confused about what I have seen. I stand resolute and unwavering in my conviction," I sighed heavily at her confidence.

"Very well, then where is your evidence? If I am indeed guilty of murdering the patient by reducing the oxygen pressure, surely you must have proof. Without it, you cannot justly attribute blame to me." Michelle fell silent at my counter, her blinking becoming more pronounced-a sight that elicited a wry smile from me.

"I shall bring forth the evidence posthaste and demonstrate to all how you watched a man suffocate to death and smile creppely."

"Did i?" I feigned surprise, widening my eyes, though she could discern the sarcasm in my tone. There was nothing here, no reason for her to cast baseless aspersions upon me when I was innocent of any wrongdoing.

"Huh!" Michelle, visibly annoyed, turned away with a stomp and exited my chamber.
