"When I finally revealed my identity, I received insults that I never expected to hear again. Especially from Hina, who called me a deserter and looked down on me. However, my response was not very pleasant. After all, if I didn't had it been by sheer chance of events, or by the will of force, I should have died in Christophsis along with the rest of my platoon. But back then, I was not willing to die in vain. I was not a tool to be used. it was used and then thrown away when it was no longer useful. I was a human being. But the Kaminoans didn't see us that way.
When I finished saying all the... strong words I thought to Gina and the old woman, I turned and went to walk through the dark jungle. I was so angry that I was not able to realize that I was leaving the camp. And if it hadn't been for Princess, who followed me at all times, I would have gotten lost easily again.
A couple of hours had passed since our discussion when I finally returned, only to find the old woman sitting patiently in front of the fire.
Old woman: - Have you calmed down a bit? Or are you still in a bad mood? -
Rage: - I... I'm sorry I think I was very hard on her, I mean with you. -
Old woman: - You don't have to worry about me. Although I can't say the same for her. -
Rage: - It's just... all these years for what? What is the purpose of all this? - The old woman looked at me strangely.
Old woman: - You can't blame her for what she thinks, just like she can't judge you for the decisions you've made. Both come from very opposite worlds. With time, you may understand each other a little better. -
Rage: - I don't think so. When we make it out of here, I'll take her to Coruscant and disappear somewhere quiet, and I'll probably never see her again." -
The recording of Rage is interrupted again.
"Were you seriously listening to us? Were you still awake?"
Rage appears to be talking to someone behind his back.
"Well. What was I on?... A, yes.
When I finished speaking, the old lady poured out a bowl of some kind of bubbly green liquid that actually looked very nasty, and offered it to me.
Old woman: - Here. This will clarify your ideas a bit. -
Rage: - You're crazy if you think I'm going to drink that. -
Old woman: - Who are you calling crazy!? - At that moment I thought I said something I really shouldn't. - You, little boy, are going to take that and reflect on what he said. -
At first I had no idea what was going on. I mean. I was raised in a laboratory. I had never experienced any kind of... motherly love. To put it in some way. So I just took the bowl in silence while feeling something warm on my chest. A kind of excitement and joy at hearing the old woman's words.
With no other choice, I held my breath and drank the strange liquid to the bottom. The taste was horrible, nothing comparable to the other, and I remember every cell in my body shuddering. I began to feel somewhat dizzy almost instantly. I started to sweat, thinking at first that it was because the drink was too hot, but it was something else.
I remember my breathing started to slow, and I even think my blood pressure plummeted, and finally, I fell backwards on the ground.
I still don't know for sure if I just fell asleep, or fell into some sort of coma. But when I was able to regain consciousness, I was no longer in the camp. To be more specific, to this day I don't know where I was. It was some kind of gloomy world and I could barely see, except for a few marks on what seemed to be a wall of rocks that surrounded me. I tried to walk a little, but it seemed to me that I was not moving.
