"I don't know how long I was unconscious. Maybe a few minutes, or a few hours. I couldn't say exactly. I only remember waking up to bright sunlight streaming through my helmet visor.

My shoulder wouldn't stop aching, but I was still able to get up just to see the chaos around me. Hundreds, if not thousands of droids made into junk on the sand, as well as dozens of jedi corpses and a couple of clones. In the distance I could see a boy crouched while holding a Mandalorian helmet, which ran when he noticed my presence.

I knew I couldn't stay there. If they found me, they would kill me. So with a lot of effort I managed to stand up and walk towards the nearest exit that I could see. Fortunately for me, there wasn't a single droid or Genocian in the entire area. But just before leaving the coliseum, I stepped on something that made my foot numb.

A strange rod was embedded in the sand. It was white with some details in silver and black. Beside him lay the body of a vurk, covered in pale brown robes with three gunshot marks on its abdomen.

My gaze was absorbed by the rod. Something strange made me want to pick it up and take it with me. It was a feeling I couldn't fight. It was... stronger than me. So I took the dusty stick from the sand and carried it with me.

I made my way into the tunnel network of the underground city while barely able to load the heavy DC-15A blaster with one hand. I advanced slowly, trying not to make any noise, and I hid every time I heard a strange noise near me.

After a few minutes I felt how the explosions on the surface made the entire underground structure rumble. The battle on the surface had begun. So, I kept going in the hope of meeting the rest.

I eventually found an exit that led to the upper levels of a structure, and a few meters from me was a Genocian firing a powerful fixed cannon at the clone troopers.

I tried to lift the heavy rifle with great effort, but when I fired I missed the shot and it hit the metal. The Genocian, seeing me, jumped on me. With little effort he managed to take the rifle from me and throw it down the ravine. We began to struggle, but with my injured shoulder I was at a disadvantage. I tried to use the stick to hit him, but he pulled out some kind of knife and that's when I really got scared.

The Genocian jumped on me and out of sheer instinct I put the staff in the middle. Fortunately the rod withstood the blow, and I tried to push him off me. It was at that very moment when the "rod" lit up. What I was holding was a lightsaber, which cut the Genocian in two with hardly any resistance. It was a clean cut. Without blood. Just a nasty burning smell.

I was shocked to find out what I was actually holding. The bright green light captured my full attention as I could barely control my breathing. Turning around, I saw two Geonosians coming towards me. I thought i would attack, but when they saw the lightsaber they decided to return inside the maze.

I used the steep side of the mountain to climb down the ridge and finally reach where the other clones were. There I was received by a doctor who quickly gave me morphine and my pain began to ease.

I still can't figure out what prompted me to keep the lightsaber in my crotch. I don't know if I wanted to avoid being found out... but I remember spending a lot of time praying that it wouldn't activate inside my armor."
