Lumine opened her eyes to see the barren land. Raiden Ei stood across the plane, staring her down.

"Hello there, traveler."

"Raiden Ei..."

"So you do know who I am. You figured it out..."

"Where is Paimon."

"Oh, your friend? I haven't the slightest idea..." She said with a smirk.

Lumine was left with no time to answer as Raiden Ei sped toward her, their swords clashing as they continuously blocked each other's attacks. They moved around the sandy plane while concentrating on each other as they searched for openings. They blocked each others' attacks seemingly for hours.

They swung back and forth for what felt like days for them. Both Lumine and Raiden Ei had cuts and bruises all over their bodies, mainly on their faces.

If only I could find...

Lumine began to notice Raiden Ei's attack pattern.

One to the head... then to the shoulder... Aha!

Lumine found the long-awaited opening she so desperately needed. She waited for Raiden Ei to repeat her movements. She found the opening at last and struck, the sword striking straight through Raiden Ei's stomach.

Raiden Ei fell to the ground, speaking. "Very well, Traveller..."

She waved her hand and a gate was opened. Out flew Paimon.

I had been trapped in this dark place for what seemed like months. Something felt different when I woke up this time though. I could swear I heard fighting nearby and a familiar voice. The noises stopped for a while and a gate opened nearby. I could see the Traveler on the other side.

"Traveler!" I yelled after her

"Paimon!"

I hugged her tightly and turned to see the Shogun on the ground.

"What happened?? Did you do this while Paimon was trapped in that dark room?"

I looked at the Shogun, her face growing a smirk.

"Woah- What's that about-" I was interrupted.

"Paimon... I don't feel so..." She fell to the ground.

I flew down and started to shake her.

"Traveler!"

"Traveler!!"
