The Fiery Princess

"Welcome to the world Kaya."

Even though Ray and Maya lost touch with their friends elemental masters except Wu and Garmadon, everything went well for the Smith family.

Right after Kaya was born, the couple couldn't be more happier.
They deeply loved their daughter as much as they love each other.

She was their little fiery baby. ☆

Ray would be playing with Kaya making her laugh by doing silly things.
For exemple, one day, Maya was walking towards their room. She opened the door until she saw Ray there.

He was next to the red crib Kaya was laying in.
Maya was about to ask what was he doing until she saw him began to make silly faces in front of Kaya who looked at him shocked before she slightly began to giggle.

The more Ray was making silly faces, the more Kaya was giggling and moved around trying to reach his face with her little tiny baby hands.

Maya just looked in aww at the scene by the door before she chuckled which Ray heard and made him stop dead track once he spotted her.

He felt kind of embarrassed, but, hearing Maya and Kaya laughing made him laugh as well.

And that's how the days passed, full of happiness.

Several days passed,
Kaya had now 7 months.
The little girl now knew how to crawl as she was full of energy.
Too much energy.

Once she knew how to crawl, she began to go everywhere in the house, making it difficult for the parents to watch over her.

But the hard work of being parents wasn't done yet, no no no.

It just begun.

One day, Kaya was playing with her toys in the living room with Maya until she got herself up.
She asked Kaya to stay there until she comes back and finally left.

After a while, the little baby didn't want to play with her toys anymore and looked around seeing her mom hadn't came back yet.

She was sit there alone, in the middle of the living room, until she saw a weird little red and orange light coming from behind a door.

She smiled and innocently crawled towards it. The door was a little opened and Kaya managed to pass.

Behind the door was her parents' forge, the place Maya and Ray didn't Kaya to enter the most because of all the sharp weapons there is there.

As Kaya innocently crawled more in the forge, she was being attracted by those actual shiny weapons hanging on the walls until she spotted the same red and orange light as before, only brighter.

She turned around and saw fire burning brightly into the fireplace.

She looked amazed at the flames before she slowly crawled towards it.

She was now sat in front of the fireplace, still amazed by the look of the flames dancing brightly on the burned wood.

Giggling at the warm feeling the fire was giving her as she felt warm and safe.
She didn't knew it yet, but, it was.. as if.. the fire was calling her.

Then, innocently, she slowly lifted her arm towards the fire to touch it.
Her hand was millimeters away from the fire until Maya entered the forge.

She had looked for Kaya once she saw her daughter wasn't there anymore.
She then saw the door of the forge a little opened and walked there.

Once she saw Kaya was about to touch the fire into the forge, she immediatly rushed to her and picked her up away from the fire before she could touch it.
